There is loads of legal pornography involving step-relations available on not-shady sources, so it certainly isn't illegal to do that. Patreon however can always decide to have guideline not required by law - for all it's worth they could ban any game featuring redhead characters. I am not giving any advice or warning though, since I don't have business with Patreon (and don't reside in the U.S.) so I'll keep my mouth shut from now on.
