Well if hundreds of users try to get the file at the same time (like when an update is published) from a single host, things tend to go pretty slowly.
The way torrents work, users that got the file also share it for other users which effectively distributes the bandwidth load.
Yesterdays I got the 8Gb in a matter of minutes while DLing it from the file hosts would have taken hours.

Figured I'd try it again because I'm bored and probably would be better off just downloading the renders... There's absolutely no reason for this game to be over 8GB, there are games with A LOT more content and with better looking renders that are a fraction of this size. Game only being Vsync'd is dumb and a waste of resources when you have a monitor with a high refresh rate. Easy enough to fix with RTSS at least.
