Well, the dev (Stawer) more or less gave it away in his post that what you heard was right, otherwise he probably would have said something like "No, not Honey Select but Marmelade Choice" or such.
How? I played Honey Select before i know the game is modable but what sorcery is this that make the graphic look so different.

Well, it's HS1 and i modified it to fit the aesthetics I wanted to achieve.
The characters are drawn in a quick 2d sketch before being created in HS (so the girls don't look like a generic character made in HS, or at least that's the intention.) and sometimes it is necessary to use another 3d modeling program to refine details in the contour of the face or eyes, but nothing big deal.
Then some render has postwork in photoshop or some very small and almost imperceptible details are drawn by hand (the cum, the sweat, nipple details and in some scenes or things difficult to achieve in 3d at least for me).
The idea is to change the perception of lighting that HS uses so that it looks less 3d and more 2d. I don't know how to explain this better, I'm not an artist and I don't know the technicalities, but let's say that everything looks "flatter" or something like that.
If I'm not forgetting something, I think that's it in a nutshell, and yes, this is very time-consuming xD

Hi Stawer i love your game but the map need to be bigger the library show a half a body when you go upstairs all i see is 2 door when i play this game log time ago it had 3 door or is it a bug maybe next update can be fix ? and have a nice day

You give Layla the screwdriver during her story. Layla should always be in her room in the Miss Pumpkin during the evenings

I feel bad for being a lurker all this time and never giving back feedback or anything éwè...
While I'm thinking about it and my ADD is not making me forget it right away I'll take this opportunity to give some!
So the only thing I actually am a bit disappointed with in the whole game is the "use" of anal that is kinda sparse (since iirc it's only with one character so far that you can do some), and also, that every time it's used we don't have a good view of it and it's pretty much always the same view that makes it hard to actually see correctly if it's going in their bum explicitly and kinda makes the act a bit underwhelming. There so many great poses that would be so great. Like the MC holding the girl with his arms by the underside of their knee with the girl is facing back to him while he rams her. Or just a good old cowgirl/reverse cowgirl view! Etc.
Not gonna lie, it's my favorite (duh haha) and I wish I could eventually do that with all the girls u/////u. I think it would also create all sorts of super interesting scenarios and scenes since every girl has such a distinct personality! I can imagine all the funny scenes that it would create. Like trying to convince a certain character to try it and them absolutely not wanting anything to do with it. But then by witnessing you doing it with another girl or maybe by pure curiosity or finding the porn material of Charlotte, they turn around on their decision or opinion and embarrassingly and/or shyly asks you to try it hahaha! OR super raunchy/lustful/hot scenes it would create! You know, like with Maxy for example on the later . Our mutual favorite girl (Goth girls are beast girls) HAS to be down with doing that kind of stuff. I'd be so surprised with the opposite coming from her hehehe

And I could never decide which one I like best, each game is so special in it's own ways and both tick so many boxes of top quality adult game traits it's insane! But anyways I digress haha!
So yeah I have to take a moment to kiss your ass for a moment here lmaooo. The story is so great and interesting and intriguing. I has so many plot twist and turns and even gut wrenching at times in the best ways possible. I legit cried with my fucking dick in my hand Stawer! That's no small feat dude x'D.
Also, each character is very distinguishable from each other in their personality: looks, demeanor, the way they think and act. Everything! I got really attached to all the girls that is romanceable so far. I saw in the UI that not only some girls that were evident that you would be able to at some point to romance one day, but also some really less obvious ones that made me so happy! Like a certain Lady dressed in red that has such a cute and particular face. I can't wait to see how that is gonna work out! Without spoiling anything to anyone, lets say I just LOVE "converting" characters! Especially when it's progressive and so nicely done like for all the other characters. Man...the writing is just too good.
The art style is to die for! I love the way the characters look! It's so unique and really hits a sweet damn spot with me! First time I saw the images on this thread I was so hyped to try it out right away! Also the details you put on their body, like the nipples for example, look really good! And they already have so many costumes which many are really dope as hell and gives a nice incentive to revisit a ton of H-Scenes! Which by the way are just delicious to the eye. The poses and animations are *mwah*chef's kiss hahaha.
The map layout is really fun and easy to navigate while being also interesting to navigate. The UI was already pretty nice and now I can see it's going to be baller as all hell once it's all done and is already so useful too.
Also I already had played the whole game not long ago and just came back to see you remade the WHOLE ASS GAME with a fresh coat of paint and a reworked and well oiled engine. And it was already so damn great and you made it fricking next level it's ridiculous. I already replayed through the whole thing the other night. It was, in my opinion already such a polished product and now it's basically nearing a mirror finish in terms of features, stability and ease of use. I'm not even kidding hahaha.
So, Stawer, thank you so much for your amazing work and the superb experiences that it gave us, gives us and will give us. You work not only really hard but also with passion and it shows! This game is just oozing with passion! I'm even a bit bummed out I really don't have the budget to support you on patreon since the last, almost now 2 years, have been extremely rough on me in many ways and I'm not out of that hole yet by far. Anyways, this ain't about me. I swear, the moment I can allow myself to support you I will! Mark my word. I don't when that'll be but one day.
