Well, it's been a little over a year since I first tried out this VN/Game... I'm a bit sad that it hasn't grown far more then it has, in all this time... With over a years worth of development time, I expected much more content... In any case, there have been several improvements... The text has gotten much better... And even though the overall plot is a bit fantastical, it's not a bad story thus far... There are lots of choices where the player/reader can determine whom the protagonist will seek relationships with... I actually like the male protagonist far more then I do in many VN/Games... He's lustful towards the other women characters, but he is also kind and caring and even loving towards them... Only pushing things as far as they want to be pushed or will allow him to push... I'm a sucker for romance story lines, and there are a few of them... They perhaps may go a bit too fast sometimes, but it is what it is... I went ahead and updated my review, and pushed it from 3 stars to 4... I do hope the development doesn't stay as slow as it has been for the past year, but only time will tell...

Hey Zippity!
I wanted to thank you for your kind words and to explain why thinks are running slow.
I started this project without any experience, except for playing a few VN's (if that can even count as an experience). At that point my rendering PC was just a basic home computer with advanced graphic card with overall worth about $250 and right now it is pretty much improved, still no near where I want but I will invest more when the time comes.
I have daytime job because I'm just like everyone of you, I have bills and everyday struggle to survive
I really want to speed things up with more content per update but with how much Luke's Way is earning right now, this is pretty much at my limit. Images can take from 1 hours to 4 hours depending on how much characters are included in said scene and depends on the size of the textures used by the characters that are included in the scene. With each update, I have to cut off minor events due to insufficient time/resources and because of that some things seems to be rushed (fantastical).
What you see here is the pleasant side of each update, what you don't see is how much work and time needs every update starting from writing the planned events, making all the scenes so the characters they look real (poses, expressions, lights, etc.) and to look 100% fit for the scene, making sure that every decision player make is remembered somewhere in the code and that choice hit the player back later in the game.
Every update happens because of the support I have on Patreon and every $ I get from there is invested back in Luke's Way. Every help is appreciated and if anyone of you wants to help Luke's Way growing up is supporting me on my Patreon. Also huge thanks to those that already support me and to those that are helping me with proofreading and testing the pre-updates.
