...why cannot all renders in all games be like that (though i want all games to be real porn games. why bother with renders. no idea! ) ... that one is realistic enough (and likable which is also a plus) ... other girls are drifting away from that but comparatively ok (but overall thebar is low given the existancce of some evil crackhole-eyed mannequin-like renders)

So I got the end of first week and same thing happening. Lionheart is first place the night before, but Crowle, who was 4th place wins the thing. After a reload, Adderin keeps winning now. Why even track the points if you can't win?
The reward for winning is going into town for the weekend which hasn’t been added to the game yet.

And I just want to say, I bloody well hate that this is a sandbox it has ruined the game

When will devs learn...

You have good renders, good models, a damned decent story

and instead of being able to read and interact with this visual novel I have to run around clicking daft wee books and getting bugged out to my desktop every 10 minutes

I am pissed off because this could be a REALLy good game if you ditched the unnecessary sandbox and used your considerable talents to focus on images and story rathe rthan click click click bloody clickathons

Sandbox games just serve no purpose other than to water down the plot and stretch out less content over more playtime than a VN. Sure, you can focus on a character you like, but at the end of the day, almost all sandbox creators only do 1 event or 2 per character each update(if that) and most of them like to constantly introduce new characters without progressing the current cast first. Who cares if you can focus on the characters you want if it's going to take 2 years for you to get anywhere with that character?
Scene transaction and story flow are really hard. Sandbox games lack this. The damage you do to a story by ignoring these aspects is evident but it makes it significantly easier to write.

Tbh i dont think its too late to turn back now.
You can still keep "sandbox" element in the game, like a free roam that BaD have.
Just make the story interactive and that it matters, theres so many possibilities in that wizard college and i think i would compare this game to BaD even if it werent for a sandbox..
People would be a lot happier

good update (y) my top 3 girls are Sam, Haley and Lily but Sam still number1  i also think the sandbox is implemented well and once all the bugs are ironed out works well with the overall style of game your going for, just 1 thing im not too keen on is the mini games but they are ok and maybe an auto win to speed up the fighting

i believe the devs wanna give an exploration vibe to this game like in fantasy stories, that's why you get the sandbox.
For example you go into a specific region for a side quest, you complete a mini game, you have yourself a magical duel & then you get to seduce a girl, something like that. This game feels like it's about completing missions like you do in rpgs, you get potions & spells, stuff like that.

BaD on the other hand is like a full blown 90s hollywood teen movie production, it's story driven, it's about drama, relationships, great dialogues & making choices. I think you'll be disappointed if you expect this game to be like BaD.

Sure.
But after 10 pages of constant whining about sandbox it gets annoying.

And that's why I said

This is a public forum where people give their views on a game, how it can be improved and what they like about it. Generally we all have the freedom to not read another person's post if we disagree with it.

But something to think about, if there are indeed ten pages of complaint about the sandbox, then perhaps the dev would be wise to consider other options.

It is the devs game, a rather obvious statement but nonetheless correct, he reacted in a very professional manner to my statement about the sandbox, and did not accuse me or anyone else of whining. There are many reasons a dev will put a game up in a forum such as this, one of them is to gauge feedback and make necessary adjustments, so rather than calling it whining, I would suggest that any such feedback is possibly a valuable method of identifying things that can be improved.
