I recognize that I downloaded the game only because I follow the Instagram of one of the developers, Joanna Devas (she is a very hot model, I'm fucking amazed that she is also a game developer! ).
After reading some of the post concerned about the issue with the goal of €2500 I've sent a message to her IG asking about it:
Here her answer:
"It must been a misunderstanding, a redaction mistake. Before launching the game I had plenty of things to pay attention and practically no time to revise all the texts.
For now we are financially covered and we can and we will continue with the next episodes even no achieving our goal of €2500 per month.
We don't expect to get that amount right away the first month, we are plenty conscious that this things takes time. But ideally in a mid-long term, we should get that goal because for us it will be a full time job, we won't have time to get money from other jobs, also we have to pay taxes, collaborators (because we value everyone's work), etc..."

Uhhm.. I think, that at least for my, her explanation is quite convincing. I'll give them a chance, at least to see what happens with the second and third episode. I've really enjoyed the fist episode...I want more!!

What a really lovely body you got...I MEAN GAME DEV GAME!!!. Seriously though the artwork is fantastic. I like where it's heading at but that Patreon's goal you got is a bit wild but hey you go for it. Hope this doesn't get dropped. I want at least a few more months of content at the very least.

There are a lot of devs making a living creating porn games: Mr. Dots, Dr. Pink Cake, Dark Cookie, Eva Kiss, just to name a few. And they make awesome games because they can do it full-time and professionally. RedLolly want to do the same and the quality of their work clearly shows it. This game not something you get from someone who "does this as a hobby". Have you any idea how much must have costed to commission all this art, backgrounds, UI design, etc?

All they're saying is that to be able to make this project their job they need that minimum amount to share between two people. That amounts to a pretty average salary. Is that really too much to ask for? If you think it is, then all we will get will be amateurish half-baked games that get abandoned because lack of support.

All those dev's you mentioned all started from nothing. Their skill and dedication helped them get where they at. Just because you can draw really well doesn't mean you go open a Patreon and ask for 3k dollars just like that. You start small and grow. Patreon isn't what's paying you, your fans are. Which you only get by proving how motivated you are to keep building your game. Which only show's after time.

Yeah, I know about several weg devs from Spain but I have the impression there is something more in this case.
Evakiss style is all over the game so she must be a big influence here.

Meet the Characters: Rilke

I can't hide it: Rilke is one of my favorite characters!

When we started brainstorming to design the characters, Rilke, Sophie, and Alice were the first we had in mind.
When I write the script, I think it is always necessary to have certain moments that relieve tension and make the reading more enjoyable, and for this I like to use characters involving humor and funny scenes (as happens with the old lady).

Rilke was born out of that need, taking as a reference the animals that appear in the movies accompanying other protagonists (such as Mushu among many others).

Also, if you want to be happier, put a cat in your life!

Rilke is a chubby, grumpy cat with a lot of character. He isn't very fond of humans, but with Alice he makes an exception.
To get that funniest approach, we wanted Rilke to have that kind of cartoonish look, with almost human expressions, but still not speak to avoid the more "magical" look and keep LC's realistic plot.

In the first mood board, which is the one I have put here, we didn't include the "roll eyes" or the "facepalm" faces, but when we put them in the video game we saw that they were totally indispensable expressions (don't you think so? I love it when he does the facepalm ).
Some players have asked me if there will be animal content in LC, and there will not be. I hope that people interested in these aspects can continue enjoying the game even without finding this type of content.

I hope you are prepared to hear him growl often, and if you are nice to him, he might even purr a little for you.

Hah so it was coz of your message she came to know about the issue and made the change to the goal statement. Cool. Yeah fair enough, its nice to know that she actually understood the issue about the statement and she didn't actually mean it in the way we all thought and mainly that she understands that the goal is unattainable in just first release and that it will take time to build a fanbase and start earning that amount. Also nice to know that she has updates planned for the future without having a monetary demand/objective. Yeah I guess as a mid long term goal that is perfect.

It's obvious I assumed those expenses as well, I never thought the dev would start dodging taxes.

I almost never do reviews of 0.1 releases. I think it's too soon to rate a game on a 0.1 release, so I'll confine my comments to the thread for now.

I like the way this game has started. The graphics are unique, the characters are interesting, the story? Well, not much to it yet...but it has set up some antagonists and stakes.

I'm hoping that RedLolly has fully mapped out the plot because there is a TON of potential here. I'll be watching this game for updates.
