Definitely something going wrong, right after I finish speaking with the libriarian about returning the books the game sends me to main menu, what could I do?

Why is a game like this getting remade? I get it for hyper realism renders, where hardware upgrades and skill make a huge difference versus when you start out, but for drawn art?

They talked about it earlier in the forum (I won't make you search though) the developer and the artist had parted ways and they weren't allowed to use the art that was already done. So they had to redo the game with new art to avoid legal trouble.Why is a game like this getting remade? this game looks a lot like the first version of lust campus.
Currently there are no "2d filters" that could do such thing, if that was that easy...
From what I seen it looks like overpainting technique, where a dummy 3d model, for pose purposes only is used, everything else and 90% of the work is overpainting (2d artwork) and that's what gives it a unique look, the end result is quite good imo.

I started this game today and played the new version and then the older one.
1. Best : the game resembles real life like no other game could. Zero porn plot/story/dialogs(!). It can't be anymore far away from being porn.
The other 1. Best : lovely writing. The story is fluent and doesn't drag along with meaningless conversations or inner endless monologs. Instead it's focused to display all the different characters with all their good sites and even their flaws. I've never had the urge to skip through text and enjoyed the reading experience.
Another 1. Best : Story. I fucking hate school settings cuz normally it comes with "student gangs" lmao, the obvious status symbol - show big dick attitude, the dude which every girl is falling for and all the other fairytale shit. The reality is school shootings but these don't sell.
Anyway..
The devs keep these things at a minimum or it's simply not existing. Also you can take the story in whatever direction you want it to be. The story is simple and feels organic. Goes hand in hand with the excellent writing.
The last 1. Best : Characters. Don't judge a book by its cover. I like how the dev doesn't have simple evil or good characters. Everyone can be a piece of shit. Or not.
If this game continues, which I hope, I will give a proper review on this game and slap a 5/5 on this bitch.

Ah almost forgot.. The artstyle is crazy good. I prefer the older version but the new one is great too.
Does it end with Alice and Sophie hugging each other in bed? Or is this the end only in the Android version?
Currently that is where chapter 2 ends. Chapters 3-5 are being remade, as the original artist dropped out of the development. The new team is also adding and modifying the game on top of redoing the artwork, so it's kind of up in the air when the releases will be.

Hi guys!
I hope you enjoyed Easter. At this side of the screen we continue working on chapter 3 of LC and we can share its approximate release window: the end of this month!
At this point, the script is almost over. On the art side of things, even though you may notice it hasn't progressed that much, it has in fact, because we've added 6 illustrations that we did not account for at the beginning, but that we believe will give a lot of dynamism and depth of play (and that you are especially going to like). Luckily, while Fausto works on them, we can finish the script and start working on posing, proofreading, testing, etc. And once he's done, we just replace the placeholders for the new ones, so these new additions will not delay us one bit.
Re-editing the parts of the script that is already written is sometimes tedious, but fortunately we have quite some new scenes that have been very interesting to design and complete. We can't wait until you see the chapter and see if you like these scenes as much as we do.
