I can't seem to find the save folder on MacOS. I created a save and tried looking inside the packaged content of the game, I've tried looking in User - Library too but nothing came up. Anyone has any idea how?

the game is great but it is long i rather wait until the game is complete so i can enjoy it without playing hours just to get to new content than do it again and again

Eh... had you tried to use previous saves? You can copy them from one version to another, and continue just when previous finished.
