Not up to the latest version. You still have to wait. Until the final version of the game comes out. Maybe someone will translate what they did previously.

Most common cause is the presence of special characters in the path of the game installation folder

Even just spaces (or long paths?) can break it.
The problem is that a few files are looked up from root\StreamingAssets\... rather than root\Lust is Stranger_Data\StreamingAssets\...

I had the same feeling. Might have been a mixup cause iirc the Kate content was actuall updated this time while it was in last versions notes, and last version Kate was in the notes but i think i only saw a new Max scene.

Max content added in 0.19 was for the standard corruption path. Max content in 0.21 is a different scene, specific for her romance path.

If you played 10 hours of lis then you kinda beat the game lol, and yes, the game introduces the characters in a decent way it seems to me.
