Shouldn't thumbnails in the OP be updated after the style change? I still see the 3D version ones.

whats the difference between v0.2.1 2D and v0.3.4.5? what is the latest one? the main one on the front page is 0.2.1 2d but obviously 0.3.5 makes sense that its a later build... and are tech demos relevant either, i mean is it worth downloading and giving a try?

0.3.4.5 was the last version done in 3D. The Architect is redoing the game in 2D like his previous games Goons Raid Her and Hack'n'Stalk. 0.2.1 2D is about halfway through where he got with the 3D version. Another update or two and he'll be caught up.

The news of ditching the 3d style was a real punch in the dick ): It felt like the base to a game with a LOT of potential.
Either way, the Architect makes some pretty cool games, so I don't doubt he can make it work. I still can't believe how underground he is with the quality of his games, shits insane.

Just a quick status update here. I'm working on the last scene planned for the release and I believe I can post it by the next days (at most by next weekend).
This development cycle during Holidays didn't allowed me much more than a few shitty hours to work, but I hope I can pick up the pace on the next one.

2D faster to make than 3D one so thats answer for your quiestion maybe later author do 3D one but for now we need stick with 2D one.

yes, but the new version is still not 2D its 2.5D so the 3D models still need to be made and animated for the new 2.5D sidescroller look
I believe the problem wasn't creating 3D models, but coding full 3D enviroment was unfamiliar and very time consuming.
Also, I'm pretty sure The Architect mentioned something about not being satified with how it was turning out artistically, and how animating in full 3D felt limiting.

more exciting than the remaster coming out tomorrow! The Architect models still look alot nicer than og game and remaster in some ways.
