No misconception here ,I am guessing some ntr fan get a 25$ subscription and asked the dev to add his prefered fetish .
Devs choice if he wants to go that way . atleast it was not added halfway through the game that kind of shit is pretty annoying.

Nukes growth potential having it that way tho. Since you alienate most harem/romance players. (Since most avoid it optional or not).
So makes even less sense to me, when it is just small side-story content, since you not giving those that want the niche much content thus not really making either happy.

Although... you can't really quantify potential growth, unlike $25 that is right there calling you.

Will be interesting to see if that plan stays, cause have seen some devs backtrack because of the backlash from their main target audience to its inclusion. (Namely ones that were just including it to get more demographic)

Unless it is as simple as "They want to write the story this way." in that case such concerns as demographics don't really matter, since dev isn't concerned with such things.

My bro that utopical world when you add both and everyone is fine with it does not exist and will never will for the simple fact that not all of us like to see the people we care about getting fucked by someone other than us. That's why reasonable devs don't try to put it in everything and call it a day. That old say "the more path and fetishes I add the more support I will get" is a lie like a house, you put NTR in a game an a lot of fandoms start jumping the ship.

This website's admins would solve this problem for good if they replaced the NTR tag with "avoidable NTR" and "unavoidable NTR", since, if I'm not mistaken, a lot of people exclude games based on tags alone. Same thing could be said for the distinction between the different kinds (Netorare/Netorase/Netori).

The last point could also be said for futa/trans.
In fact, both of these notorious "debates" are a result of bundling more than 1 kink in a tag and not specifying if it could be avoided using tags. It's an inevitability of every generic qualifier that ever existed. Turns out people don't want to take chances when it comes to things they hate, and it's a shame because a lot of titles would be discovered and appreciated otherwise.

Financial support is a separate issue. Sadly, you can't guarantee anything when development is crowdfunded. Heck, most projects get abandoned after a while. You highlighted the crux of the issue right there.

I think you misunderstand the tags.There are no games that do not contain ntr. Tags are the content of the story, not the summary or theme. What the developer means is that some of the side characters are cheating but this does not affect the main story.

Just because the description says footjob doesn't mean the story will only be about foots.You need to change your perspective.

Potential is there but given what the dev say "pleasing both sides" this wouldn't work.
Mainly because development of the story would be halve every update and both sides would just complain if no equal treatment.
Shame though I like the design but hard to support with the future tags though would still watch this closely if release are fast /story is good and I am not that bothered with the NTR since it is minimal might support it eventually.

For now goodluck to the dev tricky to combine the tags so you need it.

Different paths exist only in side stories.

Elections will not shorten the game. Because the choices have nothing to do with the main story.

There will be only small selections in the main story.

why remove the planned ntr and cuckold tags? it will be worse when the scene appears without a tag , at least with them the player knows in advance what to expect and whether or not he wants to invest time and/or money in the game... (if the content is going to be in the game, removing those tags from the list would be misleading players and possible patrons, not a good thing to see in a new dev/team.)
