Where can i find the codes for the xmas content?
Codes? You should see a Christmas tree icon in the upper right (near where the Hints button normally appears) and click that. I'm sure, though, that this content is limited to the time around Christmas itself, like the Halloween special is. Perhaps it's now too late to see it normally. You could, as others have, change the date on your machine/device to something closer to Christmas (might as well do 25 December 2021, if you're going to do that) so that availability triggers again.

Man, dunno why the change on the 'background' of the texts. The darker one from the 'Echoes of Lust era' was preferable to this 'lighter' one. I mean, the fonts are in white/yellow, mostly, and if you needed to see what was behind, you'd just hit the 'H' to hide the text interface (at least on PC). But this 'Lust Theory' update made them pretty much unreadable in some scenes, with the yellow and white mixing with the bright backgrounds (light floor, walls, etc). At least make them font have some sort of dark outline on the letters haha. View attachment 1559378
I made a simple patch to add "Outline" and "Drop shadow" to dialogue text, like this:

if you're interested, just extract and copy the "readable_text.rpy" file into the game folder.

So maybe after the game completes, the voice will be added?
They've said they would like to, but who knows if that will eventually happen? It will cost money no matter what. It's up to them to decide whether that is something they're willing to do or not. We won't know until it's all done.

In the last report on patreon it is said they started to record the voices.
Makes sense, would kinda be pain in the ass to try to find a spot from VA's schedule only after they would have all episodes together. Now it's easier for them when much smaller part needs to be done before after E9 is done. Especially since they seem to be few weeks behind from their schedule, so most likely the best thing to do.

Not sure if that would get me to play the entire game over, though. I play so many games without voicing that I don't feel like its missing. To be fair, I also do a lot of reading and so have to imagine voices of characters as well. I'm still undecided whether I feel like voicing in VNs is a good thing or not. If it were consistent throughout, I think it might be preferable (like many non-VN games generally) but not something that I would ever expect.

They do the voice over mostly for their Steam audience who are waiting for Season 2 to drop there with voice acting and then for the possible new comers. So for the current players it doesn't add anything and they know that too.

I think voicing the game can add a lot. Although I'm fond of incest versions of games, which of course isn't going to end up being voiced these days. You're lucky if you get a text patch that does a decent job of making the incest an integral part of the game versus just something very crude where the relationship is just a text variable that gets dropped into a line here and there.

It's also not uncommon for devs to go back and correct dialogue or completely edit scenes if the mood takes them, or they prove unpopular with fans, or for any other number of reasons. If you've already recorded the voicing for that dialogue, it complicates things though.

True, especially this one where there isn't a keen character term for the family members as everyone determines it themselves, so the voice acting is usually just "oh, fuck me with your big cock _____" (also because of Patreon ToS), so it kinda leaves some of the sentences unfinished and they doesn't sound so good. But other than that I can understand why someone likes the voice acting in this or other similar games.

For me, the key word is can. Yes, it can, but typically it doesn't IMO. More often than not, you end up with a mixed bag (at best) of voice acting, and the more porn is in a game the worse it tends to get for some reason. Unless it's going to be throughout and done well, I can do without the voicing.

This tends to be much more of an issue with games being written specifically with it in mind to comply with policies on sites like Patreon. My guess would be that when developers do this, either they themselves or testers they have helping out would fail to read through the game in the different contexts. So they might have a non-incest playthrough to check for bugs but then forget to do so with incest in mind to make sure it still reads well.

I have noticed some developers will have conditionals to check for a patch or something, with two different sets of dialogue depending on whether that's present or not. So something like:
Python:
if patch:
"[s_name], you're my sister above everything else. I don't want to hurt you."
else:
"[s_name], you're my best friend above everything else. I don't want to hurt you."
That tends to work better than just having the variables in place and then hoping that things will sound correct when incest is in place.

Yes, exactly. You either have to deal with the dialogue sounding strange, omitting the dialogue there, or rerecording the dialogue, which will then cost more money.
