Does the game have a hard-break end when you have the evening with the neighbor next door? It dumped me completely out of the game - and I hadn't had the late interactions with Rudy yet...not sure how to get around that...

There are no hard break ends....Either you get a screen that says the progress is over and wait till next version or it reflects that in the text.
If it dumped you out of the game then the game crashed. Did you use the cheats?
That can make the game a bit unstable in the past.

Ahh - I cheated money at the start (kinda a reflex action on RPGMaker games) so acquired the bike too soon, probably. I was seeing some things out of order from the walkthrough, so that may be it. As I said - I was already locked into the neighbor action before the Rudy rescue/etc. It's just a reflex to cheat 'cos I HATE grinding...

Most people hate grinding but this game doesn't have a ton of it...
Cheating and buying things out of order (compared to the WT) will throw the timing of the WT totally out of whack. It already has issues in that some events are Randomized so they may not appear for you when they did for me.

What I suggest is to play one clean game with the WT and catch up to everything in the most recent Version.
Save it for use in the next version when it is released, Open it, Save it to a new save slot you can use to freeplay (no WT) and if you want to use a cheat to find events save it in a designated Cheat slot so you always have one clean save you can replay to the finish once you know all there is to do so you can save it for the next version.

I do this with most games where I have certain slots reserved for Clean Saves, one for Decision point saves and another for Freeplay and Cheats.

If they just follow the walkthrough to the point where V4 ends, There is really no need to use a money cheat.
There are only three places to go that require any distance where the Motorcycle is a time saver...
From Home to Brothel and Rudy.

If you do the Brothel and Rudy on the same walk (they are very close to each other) You can reduce the walking time a lot.
Liane is really close to the house and there are only a few times you need to go there anyway.

Which is why the Walkthrough focuses on getting your Brothel upgraded to Level 3 because once you are there, Money is no longer an issue and you can buy the Motorcycle within three days of doing it even if you have a zero balance.

Since things like the Webcams for Mom and Sam really do very little until the Brothel is at Level 3 only buy one webcam for Alaina to start the clock on setting up the others so they are available once the Brothel is making all the money you need to buy anything you need.

Limit purchases before Level 3 to one Webcam, the Handycam and the Memory card.

Not sure what the issue is here but I downloaded the mega version of the game and used 7zip to open the file when it got to about 70-73% range it gave two errors they are as follows
1 (*basically the path of the downloaded file)
2 CRC failed : Lust Town V0.0.6\www\audio\se\Laugh.rpgmvo

Thank you for the download just had a play through, 1st thoughts. The good, Nice concept Nice art (could do with a bit of size variety in the breast department) The not so good played via walkthrough and triggers seemed to be all over the place some early some late (this may have been caused by collecting income every day as i finished with 19 grand ).Few typo's here and their but guessing the authors native language is not English by the way some of the sentences are constructed so that can be forgiven.will play through again collecting income just for what i need and see what happens.All in all though enjoyed the game kept me entertained for a few hours and look forward to next update

It uses MV. I am a macfag and only MV exports as universally playable. Earlier versions of RPG Maker don't cater to mac or unix by default.

Final Lustery is the game the Neighbor gives you when you visit her. Using the item is not all that important (you can't actually play it) but it does show you the front and back covers of the game which has some description of that game.

Yes I believe it is using that engine.
As for people disliking the engine, I can only speak personally here...I DO prefer Unity over Renpy it would seem based on the games I like and don't like and what engine they use.

The few things I don't like about Renpy games doesn't exist in this game. Which is namely the massive travelling you need to do to multiple maps and hunting for the place/house/mappoint you need to go to finish the quest. It makes playing those games without a walkthrough a grindy nightmare. You spend half your time walking the streets to find the map edge to travel to the next map you need to go to. For an example of this see a game called My New Life which is one of the better Renpy games I have played but has 8 maps to navigate most of which require passing through some map in between. It has a ton of quests, puzzles and side games but trying to complete that game without a walkthrough is impossible.

This game has only ONE map! The story is very tight and suffers from none of the issues I mentioned.

The only other issue with Renpy is it is quite easy to make it crash with no recourse other than to go back to the last save because It exceptions and all you can do is close the program and re-load. This is especially true if you use cheats or Save editors. Variable tolerance would appear to be very tight in the renpy engine.

But it does allow you to create a great many locations and challenges which is why so many people still use it.

It really all comes down to the Developer and how they use the Engine and not the Engine itself.

If you were talking about Final Lustasy, you need to visit her after buying it. That will trigger a sex scene with your neighbor. By the way, there seems to be something wrong with this game's translation because her phonecall goes like this:

If what she said is the truth, then "only a couple of years away" could only mean one of the following statements:

1) She's 16 (which is wrong for a porn game)
2) She could be downplaying it and she could be even younger than that. (which is even more fucked up for a porn game)

Have you tried placing the camera there during the night?
What you skipped is that she asked you to employ her girlfriend in your brothel as a receptionist.

There's a walkthrough at the beginning of this thread, I suggest that you use it.

You have to do Sam's Cam at Night....Once you do get it in there her friend shows up (provided Brothel at Level 3 which I think it has to be to get that dialogue)
