There's a lot to like about this game from the detailed renders to the story's willingness to touch upon (relatively) dark subject matter. It's clear that the dev has ambitions for this project and wants it to stand apart from other games like it in the space. However, in my opinion, this game ultimately does not reach the high expectations that it has set out for itself. This is due to x3 main issues that significantly detract from the intended experience. This is elaborated upon in more detail under the tag below.

I very much like the more lighthearted approach, I'm so sick of over the top sturm-and-drang games pretending to be epic storytelling. They're porn games, not Stephen King.

This shit is excellent. A pirate ship with a bunch of beautiful women and horny pirates is a great NTR setup for a PORN game. I get constructive criticism but most people bitch about stupid shit, it's become a disease on F95.

Sorry, let me clarify, the events aren't neccesarily lighthearted, but the style in showing and narrating them is. The overall tone is that of "Pirates of the Carribean", not of "Saw". And i love that.

Furthermore - I think many are unaccustomed to this in games (particularly with ntr options) so it puts them off.

During the event I read the text 2 times over to see if I missed something, but truly, the captain never explicitly mentions if he took out both of them, just her - it's only implied.... so if anything maybe the guy will come back for revenge

No, the dev did mention that when you don't have a girl heading towards an NTR scene, then she won't have an NTR. so if you don't have the MC eavesdropping, the blonde girl's first time is definitely not sex with Hank.

I'm not sure how the dev's going to do this because the choice was to just skip the scene or not. This kinds of choice only makes the NTR unavoidable meaning the scenes where you can choose not to witness the NTR events, but they still happen behind the scenes. It's not like the girls stoped talking when the MC chose not to eavesdrop because we are not only watching the events based on MC's POV.

That's a choice within the NTR branch from an earlier choice. If you do the non-NTR branch from earlier, events play out differently.
