That's why we've got definition of 'abandoned' here on f95zone and it is related to latest update time. Dev has issues for quite some time now. He tries do handle it and wants to continue developing this game but unless there will be any update of the game - it is abandoned...

He never got his "head out of his ass", I'm just keeping you informed, the game on Steam is called Unsevered, you can add it to your wishlist so you don't lose it, there's no news there either as of 09/15/2025.

Family members die, you lose your job, you have to move home, your computer blows up, etc, etc. If you've never yet had to deal with such things then count yourself lucky, but realise that some of those real life things are absolutely unavoidable!

I remember My New Life's dev had told that he had to postpone an update release because his pet had drowned into the river, therefore he had fallen into depression and stopped working on the game.
He told this story TWICE at least.
I guess that dude should have paid more attention to his pets.
Well... I guess his apartment had a window facing the river. Can you imagine? his cat/dog opening the window... calmly watching the river... then... a dive. Into the river. What a tragedy. And it happened twice.

Do some people use real life as an excuse? Absolutely! But that doesn't mean that everyone does the same. I was merely attempting to point out that sometimes real life can indeed get in the way of other, more fun things. If you've never, ever experienced any of the truly dark times of real life then count yourself lucky so far, but maybe prepare yourself for some really awful dark times yet to come your way!
