Whatever the case, sad that this stopped development. It was a great premise.

Pretty much abandoned, devs got burned out and the RPGM engine was a major contributor to that. They said the only way they will continue is through another engine that's not RPGM, and considering that just porting the game to another engine would take more than a year, I would not be hoping for anything to come out anytime soon if ever.

No idea, you can probably ask them on their Discord under the Magical Camp Channels, they still actively post there.
