Man I really thought I'd like this, I loved Celesphonia but this is just trash. It plays like a how-to fuck up game design, it's completely inscrutable and filled with RNG, nothing is clearly communicated to the player, the mechanics it does explain don't appear to actually work as explained and the fucking random events in the areas are worthless. You have no direction over doing anything, whenever you try to do something you get a random outcome that could be anything at all, the combat mechanics are just.. how does ANYTHING work? This attack requires hearts, this one doesn't show up til you have more, is it listeners? Is it the hearts to the left of them? How many are required for an attack, are they just requirements, are they costs? Why when I set up the "bad listener growth +50%" camera does my stream basically only get good listeners? Why doesn't anything work in a coherent manner?
It's a shame, the art is great, concept is great, I like this type of game very much but the execution is so astonishingly bad it's irredeemable, unplayable garbage. I give up, I've played videogames for two decades and I can't figure this shit out, I don't play porn games to be frustrated by the worst game design known to man.
