Just a point I would like to add. While they have done fuck all with the game since 2016, it has been in development since before it was even on Patreon. I think it was like 2013-2012 the first time I heard about the game? It's funny you mention AAA games, whatever your opinion might be on them these days (microtransactions, season passes and DLC's aside), I think we can all agree that you pay for content you will get as soon as the transaction is over. Even if new titles are $60, that's like 6 months of the inner circle bullshit for a game that was pretty good until the devs started slacking, right now failing to provide ANY sort of solid content to back up their funding requests. Most of the things that I've bothered looking into are either text-based explanations, a couple of pictures of some 3d models and the lame battle tests. Game's been stuck in development since 10/2016 and we're in 4/2018 yet there's barely any progress to actually track. I don't really get it how some people are still willing to support it after 18 months and the sad truth is that, as long as they keep earning $6,5k+/month as they currently are, they won't feel any sort of pressure to reveal the work they've put into it (if they have). If you do the math (I'm not aware of how much pateron takes) but they've gathered around $100k+ during this period. What really grinds my gears about their business model that you may have mentioned is that, they're hiding most of the 'progress' updates for inner circle supporters when everyone who spends any dime on this game for more than a month deserves to know where it goes into, not just a wall of text once a month. Are they really thinking that people would spend $10 to get the latest hottest news since there's not much else they currently have to offer? Not only that, but I believe any dev who REALLY wants to create a good game would not hide something as simple as a bug test that offers none of the future content behind a paywall as if they're pretending they're releasing something relevant so that people who haven't donated without access to these leaks, might just sink a few dollars in their pockets. I do want to believe they're working on it because I understand how difficult game development may be, but there's way too many red flags about this one.
Thats almost SIX years for 2 discarded demos and 4(maybe 3) models that apparently are not even finished.
