Ok i helped myself. It looks like from some reason i was missing 1 star in relationship, i had same problem with mother questline, and adding star by modifying save file helped.

hi any idea why theres no writing anywhere on the game? no text. what bug is this and how could if ix it?

Don`t you read the instructions what CarloS send you?? You can`t play the game unless you undestand what you have read.
Someone from the Mac/Wine side of the universe will respond soon with a better answer, but a quick and dirty solution might be to install MS Word or similar - it installs a whole bunch of fonts on your system.
how can i get the most out of veronica date? ive got to 6 points and she kisses me at the door, but there is still a scene to get right? can anyone help?
Read the walkthrough - you have to listen to what she says and pick the drinks/ snacks based on that. You get points/ hearts for picking correctly.
