Download the K-Lite codec pack here:

You can use the basic, that's what I use.

Also make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed on your machine.

Windows 7 uses DX11
Windows 10 uses DX12

To determine which version you have, press the Windows key and the R key to bring up a Run dialog box. Type: dxdiag and click "OK".
I installed the codec pack and my DX is up to date. I am still facing the issue at that exact spot. The animation before that seems to run fine.

Which animation is causing the problem and is that the only animated scene that is having an issue?

Yeah, even in my feverish fog I knew that.;) But that vision did nothing for my peace of mind. I think I'll wake up screaming tonight.
Nightmares are already in store for me tonight after doing that, so I may end up waking up screaming in the middle of the night as well. So you'll be in good company. ;)
