Because you asked for version of winetricks, when handyman4567 obviously do not use it. ;) Winetricks shouldn't make problems for this game to run, as it's simple bash script which automatize installation of some libraries and applications (my basic remark, but it's kind offtopic now)

I have posted you step by step guide how to install everything you need for the game to run.

Here is it again:

• Install Wine Staging. Feel free to move the app wherever you want.
• Now you need to get winetricks from
You must be registered to see the links

• Run Terminal. Run "sh" if your default shell is not bash.
• Winetricks will require a package called cabextract. To get that you need to install
homebrew. If you already have it installed, skip to the next step. Run ruby -e "$(curl -
fsSL

/dev/null
• brew install cabextract
• exit
• Launch Wine Staging. It will open a shell window in Terminal.
• cd to the location of winetricks. I put it next to Wine Staging.app.
• sh winetricks corefonts
• You need to install more things to get animations to run. sh winetricks ffdshow quartz
• Select defaults for the install
• When you get "Completing the ffdshow Setup Wizard", select "Run video decoder
configuration" and "Finish"
• Click "Tray, dialog & paths", then "Tray icons:" "None", "OK"
To run, double click Wine Staging.app. In the Terminal window that pops up, cd to the MotH
location and type:
wine "man of the house.exe"

Is it just me or the music is missing? I mean, not even the music of the gym is working, the street music isn't too, the only music I hear is the pizza music.

Returning to version 1.0.1
Hi Fearin. I noticed that the match of the game to the 16: 9 resolution has been improved (where earlier there was probably a problem that the tables from various prompts in the game were too big now they are okey), because as I showed earlier photos, the game had different squares, curtains, and the "Cancel" button with achievements was too big, as well as the table with the words "achievements" where, after going down to the bottom, I could not click on Veronica's profile to see what I have to finish. Currently, I see that it has been improved, and thank you very much that with this version of MOTH 1.0.1 I can finally look at everything and nothing of the given squares in the game as enlarged tables from buttons does not interfere with the game. Best regards.
P.S. Below gives attachments how I had the appearance of the game window in previous versions, and how it looks already in version 1.0.1

Did you actually install winetricks? If you did, install cabextratct.
Then type in terminal:

sh winetricks corefonts
You should have all Microsoft corefonts installed in youw Wine prefix.

sorry, it took me some time to find the old winetricks version which Goobdoob use on his Mac with Wine-Staging 3.19 to play MotH.

Here is what you need to do:
1. Download and extract the zip file
2. move the winetricks file into the same folder you have Wine staging
3. click on wine-staging.app and cd (navigate) to the location where winetricks is
4. use: sh winetricks corefonts ffdshow (this command will install the needed fonts and codec you need to see the animations)
5. start the game.

Hi everyone
I was hoping to see if anyone can tell me how i get to the casino in Veronica's date? I reach the end of the restaurant with full love points, and then answer 'the night is still young', and it doesn't proceed. it only has the option to get in a cab and go home?
Is there something I need to complete first with Veronica, as the note in her profile pic indicates that the next step is to go on a date with her?
I appreciate your assistance

You need to travel by Train/Mass Transit and you will see a flyer that will unlock the Casino then you can complete the date

Is the harem bonus ending supposed to cut short just before Vanessa gives you a bj? All of the other endings seem to work just fine, but that one always ends there. Also Cassie and Linda's introduction haven't triggered the achievement, is there a fix for this beyond starting a new game?

And thanks for those awesome instructions for running it under Wine on the Mac that YOU wrote. :ROFLMAO:

No you have to work a litle on that. There are more post about it a few pages back Searcfunction is there for that ;)

I’m almost at the end.just one quest on mom’s path.I have finished business or pleasure and i have missed the last one.Please help. Where to go, what to do?
