No, after seeing me in bed a number of times the hint changed. I guess the door open sleeping gave me enough points.

Yeah, the hints change after you go up so many love and/or arousal points.

Delete the "mapping.xml" in the root folder of the game. This should reset it to default (landlady and stuff).

Or if in doubt and it doesn't work, open it with a text editor and change the according lines (you will find them).

Side note: Is mom the only character that bathes twice a day? It's why the in-game hint never helped me. I kept trying to trigger it in the morning.
