So I've kind of got to the part where it get's real grindy and it's losing my attention a little. Is there a complete save file out there with all the scenes finished?

Grindy in what way? It's all event based.
It used to be different, there were stats that had to be grinded, but all that was removed from the game. Now there are no stats to grind, money is also easy enough to come by. A couple of events need to be repeated, and it's always the same number of repetitions (five, if I remember correctly).

This game would totally benefit from sligthly better models and more complex/longer animations. I'd be happy with that as long as the game didn't change. I beat it years ago and it was pretty good for that time.

It was ok when it was first released, visually there were some more intersting ones back then as well.
The game convinced me with the gameplay mostly and what was great was the two week update schedule. Since I was not interested in JRPGs (most games were like that), this was the second "big" VN style game I played after BB (before that I played 'real' porn games by Illusion and the text adventures).
The early 'episodes' had no real animations at all, only later updates would get animations. Those weren't cheap to make, that whole prerendered 3D thing was just beginning.

If you can convince the dev that he'll make good money with a remaster, I'm sure he's going to consider it :)

... and add some more characters like the barista or the croupier? Maybe a few more side scenes (repeatables, maybe unlocked by some minor task)? Take my money and run. But alas, unlikely.

Of course, better model is always a good thing. But what kind of animations improvement would make you happy?

I'd say its the exact same character! Doesnt she has the same name too?!?
No, you name D in DMD yourself, and they really don't look like twins, maybe cousins.
Like I said, they might have started with the same base model from the store, but from what Faerin said, he never played DMD, at least not before making this game (kind of doubt he has since either).

Pretty sure he hasn't, at least not the later chapters, he seems sane from his appearances on this forum.

And yeah, if you look around in Daz3D games you will find a lot of "cousins" across games since there are only so many models but thousands of games. Specifically "Dee" has been reused quite a bit, as Nemo said, sometimes intentional as an hommage or parody, often not so. Personally I find Ashley and Dee not even that similar. Sure, blonde small girls with well rounded big ... uhm ... "characters", but apart from that I can think of worse offenders.

Personally I have more problems with the hair of some characters looking too much alike (not so much in this game, although Sophia's haircut has inspired dozens of wannabe cuties - the problems of fame I guess). It is often way more obvious and can be less mitigated just by some sliders.

Then again, if we can believe that the same "model" of an actor in the movies can be a complete loser in one movie and the envy of the town in the next, I think we can get through this as well.

Both games started roughly at same time, and choice of Daz characters was not that big, as today. Besides, MC uses same base model as MC of Big Brother, though there is difference in skin tone, and eye colour.
