Thank you.

Could you put in VSync or a framerate limiter for fullscreen so our videocards don't go mental. Unity gets a bit carried away sometimes.

@Berfius: Thanks man, I appreciate it!

@atlas114: Don't know for sure yet, depends on how much time I can spend on it! but I'm gonna try one of those days for sure!

@Blitzer68: Thanks, glad you got it working!

@ThanatosX: Thanks, added to the (ever growing) list ;)

@nathsatan: Sorry to hear that, I'll ty to find a fix, but it's really tricky making it work on all screen sizes/aspect ratio's :(

That would depend on what program you're using. For example, I'm using Comodo Internet Security and when I open it, on the Home page, is an option to unblock applications. I just opened that up on un-checked the box for Man of the House.

Damn, I guess I'm the only one who thinks that the mood system is an interesting game mechanic that sets it apart from other games. To be honest, I like the current system, but your suggestion to lock the gains differently for each action is interesting. It'll be harder to keep your hunger up when you go to sleep, but reducing the time will make people eat breakfast, lunch and diner. Personally I'd go even further and lower the lock time of several "secondary" actions (eating a snack doesn't lock as long as a full meal, or tv as long as playing a game). As for the store bought stuff, maybe just give a massive gain, but no lock reset since it's a temp fix?

Hope you can come up with a balanced system (and this may even be the biggest hurdle for this game).

I vote for per-action balancing.

The system is unique, as far as I can tell, but also unintuitive and practically demands gaming it. The cost of letting the locks expire is easily a full day of building stats back up, while the reward is access to more scenes and the ability to avoid 1-hour refreshers (which is not huge). The per-action system sounds like a ton of work for you, but it is the option that lets you best model e.g. salads vs meats. I don't know why you chose to build this system, but it wasn't painful to me, so I prefer the alternative of refinement over the ones of containment.

I'll note that what surprised me was not that the actions give too little stats, but that the gauges drop very fast once unlocked. So an alternative approach could be to have the mood be something that takes several days to max out, and that would drop down to maybe 60% after a single 12-hour workday.

Thanks guys!

@SudenReal: That's my personal preference as well.

To answer @Bagger288 's question: I build the system because I thought it would be fun and could add a more dynamic gaming element, instead of "just" going through storylines without some challenge. I am planning on adding areas and events where's certain needs are harder to fill and triggering a specific event there requires some puzzling.
One thing that this poll has shown me, is how divided people are, some prefer an easy grind, others prefer a challenge...
BTW, for what it's worth: I would prefer the same per-action system as well.

The good part for the people that prefer just seeing the storyline is that I added a cheat console, so you can just skip the mood system management all together if you'd want.

thanks dev; when it comes to adult games I prefer not to grind unless it's killing zombies for loot and money (i.e. incest story 1) so for me i am most likely going for the cheat system to lock those stats.

I want to say to add a favorable outcome to people with a very good moods and needs sorta like a good luck stat or a bonus but that's only because I intend on cheating the needs, that will probably screw the people who don't cheat.

Like the Sims, if you have a great mood then the job goes great with a better chance at promotion or a good event and vice versa.

@Crusoe

Drivers are pretty darn stable these days. Unless your system is already borked to begin with, updating drivers is 99.9% safe. I like how Nvidia has a "clean" installation option.

Doesn't your video card software have a built in FPS limiter? I know nVidia does, not sure what you're using, but try that, as opposed to asking for the dev to use time trying to build a video card interface. I'd rather the time be spent making the game better, since individual users can fix their own systems.

Looks like most just want to spam actions to max and not have to actually "juggle" things, so a request...

Leave the cheat console in for those who want the easy way, and adjust to something like Baggar and you mentioned for the per-action boost/lock. If you do the per-action code now, later you can add other foods/items to adjust one way or the other to add more variety (or require certain things to unlock scenes for example) as well.

@Faerin , I'm in favor of the last option. Let's say 2 hours lock at the MOST or even none at all?
Breakfast and Dinner restores 40% and lunch restores 20% while food need decays by 3-4% per hour?
Then sleep is 4% decay per hour with 8 hours of sleep restoring 64% so each hour of sleep restores 8%.
And hygiene would be 3% decay with showers or baths automatically making it 100%. Brushing teeth would be what? 10-20% if you "freshen up"?
All needs cap at 100 and cannot go above it.
And if your needs drop below 20%, the girls will refuse interactions?
As for stats, I like the star system unlocking more interactions. My suggestion is to make the star "levels" different for each girl so some girls are easy, some are hard. Some girls can be "friends" quick but not as easy to make a "lover". Maybe one girl is hard to be a "friend" but once she trusts you, she's easy to turn into a "lover". :D
My 2 cents. :p
