VLC uses its own codecs, so it's not good for testing system settings. But the codecs shouldn't really be the problem anymore - it's more likely related to some other component. You can try checking output.log, updating video drivers and DirectX, or turning off hardware acceleration. If you're using Linux, there was a helpful post about wine libraries earlier.Hi all,
Does anyone of you have the same problem like me that the videos do not work within the game? I can watch them with VLC player in the game folder but in the game there will be only the message "Error. Failed to play video.".
