Hardly abandoned, however the Dev has said on the Patreon page that the game is coming to an end soon. Plenty of content and story, so once this is wrapped up the Dev will be moving on to a new game that will either take place in the same World as Manila Shaw, or be a direct sequel.

Hopefully the next game will be with a curvy fem mc too, also liked the unique pregnancy idea. Just hope it won’t have much fighting with guns you have to buy, too strong enemies and so on. I personally don’t want to fight in a porn game I want to fuck xD
I also hope there will be a new creepy old guy like the informant of Manila shaw. Would be interesting to play in a different universe but same universe is cool too

You can make the enemies extremely weak and easy to beat, just look for the document labeled "Enemies" inside the data folder. I'm not sure if you can lower the price of the gear you purchase, but you can adjust the price of the items you sell. For example: The coins/gold you dig up at the Dojo.

MS1 ends but the story continues in DLC or MS2(Manila will raises in ranks to detective or somelike that)
and there should come a prequel to MS1 on renpy engine.
(but that's not certain yet, Abaddon talked about that somedays)
