Please remind someone of the name of an older project with a similar training system. The project was in the medieval world, in my opinion on RenPy or something similar, with pretty good renders. But instead of an open world, we had a city. We also had the opportunity to train and educate a slave, set a daily routine, a to-do list, and so on. I remember that I played it, but apparently I didn't add it to my favorites, so I can't find it :(

I just had a quick look into the game. First thing I love, it is more than just showing pornpics, it is a game. There is not much lewd stuff in it right now, but it is still entertaining. Which is in my opinion the base of a truly great porngame. What I would change are the pictures of some weapons. The game is set in a futuristic world, so the guns should look a bit like it. Not laserguns and lightsabers, but also not M16 or M4 and F92. Since the game does not use real porn and other pictures it might be an idea to give these weapons a different look. But this is just small thing.

The weapons are meant to be a bit old as they're reverse-engineered in primitive factories after the soft-post-apocalypse Raana's colonies experienced. That, and because I got a decent set of weapons from the same artist. :) In either way, I'll revamp the weapons and add more futuristic ones when I'm updating the combat system later.

Most pics are still placeholders, but I'm rendering a couple of new ones each day so it'll eventually fill up the missing content.

Yes, that's the slave system right now - you can only interact with your active slave and you switch slaves with the arrows. This system will undergo an upgrade soon that'll allow four slaves instead of two, with a much easier to use interface for choosing them.

That brown button will set your slave as a follower. She'll help you in combat and it activates certain interactions/choices when you visit other places like vendors, schools or slave trainers. Not clicking that image makes her stay at home instead.

I'll eventually come to better explanations and all that once I've redone the UI, which goes live tomorrow or Sunday. I'm doing this project on my very limited spare time so I have to prioritize :)

The slaves seem to occasionally lose some negligent amount of stat-points. Good thinking and luckily they can regain them. Slave girls can also gain and lose weight. Even better thinking and nice feature in game I suppose.
I wonder if there could be at some point of time a corresponding (hopefully optional) mechanism that lets a negligent master get gradually fat and lazy enough to look and act along their size.

Just a thought. :)

I've played a good bit of the game so far, I haven't fully explored all the slave interactions yet but I've gotten to the end of the story. Very very promising stuff. The combat is simple and well-implemented, and never drags on for too long. The exploration and worldbuilding is great and I find myself becoming invested in the lore and setting. I'm happy to hear that we'll soon be able to have four slaves, though personally, I'd like to hoard them all. Will the number of slaves ever see another increase, perhaps as we move up in status and expand our house/move into that mansion mentioned in the dev notes?

The sex scenes are well written as well, though I do have a minor nitpick. Mainly that if I convince a slave to have sex with me in exchange for a treat, and halfway through she decides she doesn't want to anymore, either that promise should be voided or we should have the option to remind her of the deal to negate some of the affection loss from keeping it going. Cause stopping halfway and then still giving her a treat seems weird to me.

Also, one thing I noticed that was kind of weird: Every time I had sex with a prostitute, the description was *always* anal. Like, did I miss a bit of lore that says you only fuck prostitutes in the ass? As someone who isn't really into anal, it was a little weird to see my character seemingly always going for anal. I'd appreciate being given a choice, at least.

Glad to hear that you've enjoyed most parts of MoR! :)

I've been busy rendering pictures and constructing the new UI for the last couple of weeks, but things like the cancel-but-still-give-treat issue are one of several smaller things I'll overlook now in the coming updates.

The anal endings in Furry's tavern are a simplification that I also intend to expand one day. See it as a "tradition" in those parts for the time being. :D

I've just released the 0.7.5 update on itch.io, which is far, far newer than the one posted here on F95zone. I'll try to administrate and update this thread once the connection errors are fixed...

Interesting, I look forward to learning more about that. Also, I'm very impressed by the speed you're pumping out updates. It hasn't even been a week since you released 7.0!

Having a rather pointless normal job (that's home-based due to the pandemic) has its benefits. I hope they won't call us back anytime soon!

Not having a widescreen monitor, I'm less than thrilled with the foced widescreen mode, but that's minor at best. The kicker is, even when scrolled entirely to the left, part of the tex gets cut-off. Which makes reading the text in the main game window highly ... annoying, just a bit above "unreadable".

I have a similar issue. 6.7 and 7.0 displayed perfectly fine on my 1920 x 1080 resolution tablet, but 7.5 cuts off part of the left edge of the screen. I know mobile isn't officially supported, but it sucks that it was working fine until 7.5. Maybe I'll have to shelve this one for a while.

This is the exact issue, down to the amount of cut-off being exactly the same. 1280x960 resolution on a desktop PC. So, it's likely not from the device.

I can't zoom out on a tablet so hopefully Whyllow can answer that but acting out of curiousity, I tried the game on my 1920 x 1080 pc monitor. While it displays fine at normal zoom, if you zoom in enough, it acts similarly to what was described earlier, with the text being cut off horizontally in the exact same place but the screen scrolls just fine vertically. Because of this, I'm guessing it has something to do with the way the game tries to scale to fit different zoom levels. My small tablet screen in landscape has the same resolution as my monitor, but because it's a different size, content has to scale differently, so I'm guessing that's where the issue is. I could be completely talking out my ass though.

As soon as I hit the zoom level that get all but rid of the sidescrolling, the text is fully readable. Which is to be expected, really.

The oddness remains that one cannot scroll left far enough to make that text fully visible.

That's strange. I tried it on an older laptop I had. The resolution was 1366x768 though, but it should center properly after zooming out.

Anyway, I've just posted a "LowRes" html-file on MoR:s itch download-page. It has all the scaling unlocked with no flex properties bound to height/width. Please try that and see if it makes the cropping disappear. Just replace your old start_game.html with this.
