Ello Otters and Happy New Year!

We're giddy from our paws to our whiskers to get you more Matrix Hearts to play. It has been a long development cycle for this Chapter, and we can't thank you enough!
When our Main Otter took up the mantle of artist Otter as well as writing Otter and programming Otter, it took half a year to become proficient in Daz Studio. An Otter that had no previous art training... It would have been much easier to start a new VN. Hell, we probably would have had a Chapter of that out by now! But I, the Main Otter, have so much love for the characters and story we created, I trained my paws to be the best I could be. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for keeping trust in us. All we ask is for you to give us a bit more time, and we are going to be on the ocean for smoother and more consistent updates to the game.
Here is the current map of things to come!
Chapter 3 Part 1 - January/February (January for Patrons and the start of February for public).
Next Stream - February through March, at least 1 or 2 a month.
Chapter 3 Part 2 - April/May (April for Patrons and the start of May for public).
Matrix Hearts on Steam - May 8th!
Chapter 4 Part 1 - August
Chapter 4 Part 2 - November
With the new schedule for releases, we are providing you more consistent updates! Each Part is also the size of a normal Chapter too.
And that's not all! We have more awesomeness coming from the Otters! That is called a "tease". You're welcome, eh.

I would be completely stoked for this if it hasn't been almost 7 months since any update. lol what a shame a game this good is supported but still takes so long for a portion of a chapter.

Technically not true (there was a quality-of-life update about 5ish months ago? No new story but some minor adjustments) but not invalid.

Also, they lost a key team member and have been learning how to do the things they lost, so I'm remaining patient until I see how they do AFTER .3.1 and .3.2 come out.

Besides, if they're still on-point with the story and graphics, I have plenty of other things to occupy me between updates.

technically, If you delete that first part, i would agree with you there.
"quality-of-life update" was almost 7 months ago, as the user you have quoted stated, and you felt an urge to "correct" him :BootyTime:

When the update comes out, I'll need to play this game again to remember everything. But in this case, I'm Ok with it. I just hope our final otter was able to learn all the things without too much pain and frustration.

It's hard on devs when a part of the team takes off on you. This isn't the only game that's been hit by this particular curse. I'd almost say it's par for the course.

Right thanks. I thought I might have missed something but nah. I am a her, not a he lol. It's fine though, otherwise thanks for making sure I wasn't losing it.

Ello Otters!

This has been a swim through a vast ocean, but... Chapter 3 Part 1 Playtester Access is here to be enjoyed, eh!
We are making this viewable to all Otters that way everyone can know when early access is going to be swimmable too.
Big Ole Otters and Otter Kings/Queens are going to get messages with all the Otter-necessities for playing the Playtester builds. Yes, builds. You are getting new builds, renders, animation prototypes, and all that otteryness throughout the next week or two with a new playable section that is going to culminate as Part 1. You're a Playtester... you... test things. Then, you can either keep your thoughts to yourself and enjoy, or chirp in the channel for Chapter 3 or at us directly about what you think!
A few Playtesters have already been chatted with, and we are excited for you to finally play this chapter!
We know everything might not be perfect, so we want a little buffer between committing to an exact date as to when early access is coming, but it's going to be the literal night after the Playtester Otters have played through and critiqued all of Part 1. We are pretty confident there won't be that much to fix, but an Otter always has to keep a clam, eh?
This has been an adventure. Going from a writer to learning everything about a visual novel, an entire 3D program, and all things in-between hasn't been easy. There was a lot of doubt. There was a lot of criticism. But who the flack cares about that, eh? As the Main Otter for everything now, the goal was to make a visual novel players would laugh with and enjoy reading (with or without clothes). These whiskers are going to make this the best possible game it can be.
Thank you, Otters... now let's enjoy Chapter 3 Part 1!

Whoa. Finally, the otters know how to animate. Maybe now they can make this game more
interesting, by showing the sex scene between MC and his longest time GF before his last climb,
smack in the beginning, like a real new age action game, not another lame dragged out soap.
Juat move it outta the friggin phone and cut out that movie where MC, who has ended it being a dick,
watches what a moron he has been in the eyes of everyone he knows up until that point.
Make it a memory, one that is amazing and plastered all over the screen, no more cop outs.

We know they are absolute newbies and have no clue about common sense
or how long hair looks and feels,
but that trick with the hair coming outta the girls forehead is disastrous.
Look at my Victoria signature and see how the most astounding brownie locks
are supposed to behave on the head of a consumate hottie.

it's february and still no update. they created a master plan at the beginning of the year with all the bs that they went through in 2022. dont know if i should call it ambition or just insanity

Hey Guys, wanted to give a bit of an update. The dev is sending me the playtest version of scenes for the new update. I've gone through part of the update so far and I should be getting more this week to playtest. Opening scene in the storm was pretty tense. Here's a screenshot of Stormy for all of you who met her in Chapter 2.
