I see your point of view and I can respect it. I would love to claim the opposite, but I don’t know what will happen in the future. The game getting abandoned is one of the possibilities, but not the only one.

If Suzinak still has the passion and manages to find the time to continue this game, then all will go well. If not, we’ll all move on to something else. And there’s a range of other possibilities between these cases.

The only thing that I can speak with certainty, is the story. I’ve designed the story for all 10 chapters for this series. I’ve created complex backstories for all characters and their evolution through the story. The rest depends on Suzinak.

And if all goes to the shitter and this game gets abandoned, I could promise to recreate the story with a game of my own. I would consider it only for the story to get its resolution and to share what I had imagined with everyone. But it won’t be the same. And I don’t think I can achieve Suzinak’s level of detail yet. Nor I’m able to do the awesome animations that he does. So, if anyone wants to see the story through the vision of Suzinak, then the only thing you can do is wait for him.

If you don’t want to remain invested in this game, then don’t. No-one will blame you. And I don’t want to make promises on behalf of Suzinak. He does what’s best for what he wants in his life and I respect that. As I’ve said in previous posts; only actions will have any significance from now on.

I'm not a patron but just wanted to say, Suzinak has acted more professionally than some of the biggest porno devs and that should be highlighted as an example for all devs to follow. If devs prioritise their lives over porno gaem devving and are honest about that with their patrons, how can anyone in their right mind criticise them?

Also it's probably best not to get too emotionally invested in any porno games. Some people on this site get too hyped up about these games and I feel like a lot of the angst and rage over delays/scamming (valid or not) is the flip side of that. Even if this gets abandoned at some point we can still enjoy what's already completed. Or not. Point is, it's not that big of a deal.

About Suzinak, I can agree partially. He's doing better than any of the other creators that are making obvious mistakes. But as a co-creator in MMC, I would also want to see steady release dates. Our initial agreement was a 2-month release cycle (like we announced), but that didn't work. And like Chicha mentioned above, as a patron, I'd want a release schedule that is frequent and steady. Honestly speaking, if I am a patron on a game that has a steady schedule of releases, I don't even care about honesty and transparency. Keep the releases coming and do what the hell you want in your personal life. The rest it's just noise. I just want a naughty sexy game to play!

It's like watching a TV Series that we don't know when the next episode airs. Would anyone invest in that?

So, if Suzinak wants to pursue other things or prioritize studies/work or whatever, then this is just a hobby. But don't expect everyone to support (through patreon/subscribestar) and keep waiting for a release. I appreciate that he offered refunds and pausing payments for patrons, but that's not the message the "investors" want to hear IMO.

About the second part, porno games gets me really excited. Everything porno gets me excited TBH

And I can appreciate this in other people. That's what I like in this forum. People are passionate about their games (and comics and 3d and 2d stuff), it's awesome! And I am like that too! I want to play new games. Explore genres and unfamiliar tags, or indulge in familiar scenarios expecting to be surprised. I can understand that "porno game dev-ing" isn't the most prestigious occupation, but either way I love it!

I have a huge game backlog, both fapgames as well as actual games. This sounds fine, as long as the quality holds and impresses I don't mind waiting for perfection - or nigh.
