Has this moved? I was probably just being a dumb ass but I had it in my mind that it was the 20th. It's not important either way since I'm probably too busy until January to check in on this game again anyway, but I'm curious.
Melody is a good game but it's definitely a porn game. Porn can be well-written but it's still porn. I'm sure the dev agrees. Look at the game, it's a sex power fantasy for the main character. It's as far from real life sex and romance as anything can be. There's nothing wrong with that at all. It doesn't make it worse. It's just definitely porn.exactly an that note:
Melody was ever meant as a story of a girl, making through to get her career as a professional singer.
The sexual content was a wanted side effect of course.
Melody was never meant to tell a story of a girl who makes all possible sexual experiences (neither normal ones, nor incest or any others) and "nearby" get a singer. So from virgin to incest a 3-some is really not "feeling right" for that story imho.

It's not some realistic depiction of blossoming relationships or character development. It's made for the porn and the good writing, which makes you care about the characters enhances the sexual aspect as well. It's like a porn movie with a plot.

Melody is an adult game, the focus is the story and the sex content is a part of it but not the main thing the game is about.
Porn games are focused on the porn, they typically don't have a developed story or any real plot. The story is there to get you from one sex scene to the next.

well, fist this game had another update schedule compared to the other one (2:1), and second the other one originally should have been already finished, but was extended for the community demands (planned was end of the other game summer 2019 - after chapter 2)It's somewhat weird to see the second game finish before the first one

Amy specifically says that Melissa (Melody's deceased mother) was her sister. (They were in the dress business together.) But it would be incest only if there's a sex scene between her and Melody (or a flashback with her and Melissa). Even a sex scene between Melody and Arnold wouldn't technically be incest, since he is her STEP-father.

There isn't a harem route with any of the girls. You can only date 1 at a time, the only path that can include more than 1 is with Sophie and Melody but Sophie isn't a LI and there isn't much content with her.
Nice game, it downloaded fine and I'm having no major problems playing it. As with many of these games, I had a few glitches, but nothing serious. I had no problems saving or rolling back lines that I had missed. The character designs are GREAT! Rebecca is my new favorite 3D Honey!!! (I LOVE redheads in glasses.) I have a minor gripe about some of the costuming (I HATE Frankenstein boots on pretty girls!), but most of them are gorgeous. I thought at first the music theme would be a pit of a pain, but it turns out to work very well for the most part- I could follow it alright and it was rarely over-whelming as it could have been. I didn't have to be a musician, be able to read music, or be able to tell the difference between notes. (One of my complaints about MYST-style games.) And I actually learned a few things!
Just about the only complaint that I had was that apparently only Melody has a detailed character profile, none of the others have profiles AT ALL- just an option to unlock their paths. Oh well, she IS the star of the show.
