VN Ren'Py Completed Melody [v1.00 Extras] [MrDots Games]

Hi guys I recently re downloaded melody to the final or current version. Previously I had the v0.13. I copy pasted the saves from the previous version and placed it in the new one but when I loaded it I got this rollback error. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to re play the game from square 1?

1. On Windows you don't have to copy savegames of RenPy games (they're all kept in %Appdata%\RenPy (you can copy that and paste it into your explorer) in addition to each game folder).
2. This game has had plentiful savegame inconsistencies during development (more than 50% of my selfmade gallery (sex scene savegames) don't work anymore). I suggest trying these three steps:

1. Check the Auto save section (last 6 decisions you played) if any of them load
2. Check all your regular savegames backwards until you find one that loads properly
3. If both of these steps lead to no satisfying result, either come back and ask for a savegame (or search the thread for them first ) or just start over.

But well oh well. I must've messed up somewhere else. My initial thought is that I simply didn't reach 375 points by the end of the game, so game decided to make a hit on one of the weakest points of mine (I was on 352, or 354 points, which is pretty close, yeah, but surely isn't nearly enough).

Yeah, then you messed up on the little points. You need 385 to trigger the perfect end on top of the relationship stuff and 400 to trigger the extra scene. I think I ended up with 405 or 415 with the walkthrough, so there is little leeway if you mess up music quizzes or minor things like ordering the wrong food or such.

on perfect ending he ends up being musician again while melody is touring and m being band's lead singer occasionally.

It wasn't added. It's just part of the Ren'Py environment that the dev didn't use.

Devs didn't use any hard-code or whatnot, so you can find actual music inside game files. Most songs even have original names. It's just that they're separated by in-game weeks.
(hopefully I didn't just sign someone for piracy here, lol)
