I fell for that too, try searching for "fix" instead - or just flip through the last few pages. There are actually two independant fix/patches.

It's less than 10 pages back, just look for attachments. Not that hard to do some actual investigation.

FYI - regarding the bug, it's purely a dialogue bug; if you chose the Koko the game recognizes that you bought it correctly, the dialogue for the Olympique is just in the wrong place.

I was told this and I don't doubt it, but where is the confirmation of this update?
Thankfully I kept my old saves.
I've been playing the update for the past few days but
I've ran through the forum, searched for fixes, redownloaded the game, even downloaded the compressed version and all but nothing seems to fix it.

Well, what worked for me was, not telling on him to Aunt Amy about Melody's illness. Choosing to say something, closes the friendly path for him...……………………..Peace!!

original doesn’t fix it, bug fix does.
it honestly changes nothing; it’ll be all fixed next update.

In the original version MC said that he will buy Olympique perfume even if you chose and actually bought Koko perfume. That was corrected in the patch.
