This game really suffers from MTL. It's easy to skip dialogues in others, since it's usually very obvious what they're saying, but this one kinda relies on text. And the worst part is, i don't think anyone is going to provide an actual translation, looking at that artwork.

Though i must admit, that MTLed name with that look and mysterious lore sounds menacing af. Translation would've probably made him more normal.

The game for sure does deserve a proper translation but honestly I don't see it happening either. There is a lot of text in this game and also quite a bit of RPGM formatting that can break from translation.

Also with regards to that guy in the picture, the Japanese for his name is "<喰らうモノ>,イーター" which based on my very limited understanding of Japanese actually does translate into something like "<One that eats>, Eater" or "<The Devourer>, Eater" so I wouldn't call him normal lol. Iirc he is part of 'Aegis' which is a group of the strongest people in the country or something but I don't remember why he attacked the protagonist.

Guess the odds of this getting a real translation are still zero, huh?

I wouldn't say "zero" considering how one of the same developer's earlier games got an official translation and release on Steam somewhat recently, but we'll probably be seeing 2032 before we see that.

Really? Which one was that? Luxoria is still on a fan translation if I'm not mistaken... Not sure if anything older than it was memorable or not.

Pretty sure they're talking about Alchemist's Fantasy R which is a remake of their second game which is actually on Steam.
I mean, that's not really an old game. That's their newest game...

Even if it's a remake, it's in a completely different RPGM engine with extremely updated art and possibly more. Oh, and mouse support I think.

So yeah, not exactly the same thing. XD

Still, that IS interesting...

Maybe they'll remake this game too...

Though I suspect the game most people would want remade is the Luxoria one.

I mean the original version of it is on their dlsite page and the R in the new versions title is meant to stand for remake so it's definitely a remake.

Some people were saying that the MTL for this is good huh?

1696811033626.png

I really want to know what those people are smoking....

ANYway... I bit the bullet and decided to take a look at this with the MTL just to see how the game plays and stuff... and yeah, I definitely have to at least partly agree with that other guy who said that this is one of the dev's worst releases, if not the worst.

Granted, the MTL makes it infinitely worse because you can't even properly enjoy any scenes or whatever work he did for the lore of his setting that's shared with Luxoria and Alchemist Fantasy and that other game with the little sister which I think still doesn't have any translation.

The fact that the brothel is only there to collect semen is a terrible choice... That's on top of the fact that it seems, so far, like it's only focused on mini-story lines with yet more weirdoes that are meant to NTR the girls away from the MC. Which you can't even properly enjoy because MTL.

The MC is also weirdly inconsistent. One moment he's able to go fuck-god with incubus powers on one girl... and the next, he gets owned by that same girl even though all the reasons he had to go wild on her because of his thing for cheating are still entirely valid... if not even more valid than they were before. Granted, MTL... so I'm not entirely sure how much detail I'm missing in the interactions.

Did I mention that the MTL is horrible? Yes? Well, Imma mention it again, because it hurts my brain.

Dunno if I'll finish the game in this state... and I still want a full translation because even with its flaws, I enjoy this dev's porn worlds with all their "have to fuck to regen and/or amplify magic" stuff they have going and the country with the Aegis peeps and so on.

We'll see. But ugh. Some of the stuff that pops up either makes me laugh or makes me feel like a spike is being driven through my brain as I struggle to comprehend it.

EDIT:
Alright, so, I played it to the end and then some using the "You Win" difficulty for the most part, because fuck dealing with the combat and the head-ache induced by the MTL.

In terms of scenes and whatnot, I'll have to say that this actually beats Amor Academy, outside of the pure netorare aspect, since it doesn't have that stuff that Amor has in the opening. However, it does actually have a scene where that blonde cosplayer that at times goes around as a maid gets fucked stupid. On top of that, it does have a bunch of events that'd likely look really nice, if only the game had a proper translation. (There's only so much I can see of Rodrigo kissing Rodrigo and other such things before the urge to facepalm is too strong...)

The sex-stats also aren't entirely useless, unlike what was said elsewhere in the threads. Some of those stats affect the titles the girls get, which helps improve their performance in combat, if you care about that sort of thing. On top of that, the Intimacy/Compatibility values affect which scenes are available outside of the forced ones in the title and the ones that can be manually triggered in quests and/or the Brothel, which are locked to progress. They're also important in terms of which endings are available.

They're still under-utilized... but they do more than they do in a lot of other games that just have sex-stats for funzies.

Also, the endings. Surprisingly, there's only one absolutely bad ending. Well, one and a half... and I say it like that because that second one has a continuation where MC goes full chad-mode and turns things around. There's of course a meh 'nothing much happened ending'. There's some ambiguous netorase endings that leave you with question marks about potential NTR. There's one character ending that basically has nothing to do with the MC. The best ending, as far as I'm concerned, which is somewhat tied with the one where MC goes chad-mode, is the one where The MCs from this game, Luxoria, and Menimis get together and those MC's use this MC's girl, while this MC uses their girls. It's also the hardest ending to get since you need to do a number of things to get it to trigger. It's also the only ending that can only be reached by playing stuff after finishing the so called Final Chapter.

Lastly, the bit about the succubus and why she doesn't regain her full form through the game. Well, the game actually explains that part too, there IS a reason, however mangled the MTL makes it, and there's more to the whole power collecting thing than just restoring her. The magical semen collection is NOT the magical power that's collected through sex.

So yeah, in the end, while this definitely doesn't beat out Luxoria, it's not quite as bad as I originally thought, even though the MTL absolutely drags it down a lot. I'd say it's better than Amor Academy tbh. Not better than the remake of Alchemist Fantasy though, but that one gets a lot of points for really good art alone... even if Mijiishi's jank original art has its own sort of weird charm. The game definitely suffers from having too many damn girls in it though, since only the red-head gets a large amount of scenes. Everyone else only gets a handful along with mini-dot character events, a number of which don't even appear in the gallery at all. Like the idol's wallbutt experiences.
