What is wrong? I downloaded the ''fixed" compressed version, and as it loads, the save from the previous version pops up such an error, even when it loads slightly backwards.

It is the fault of the compressed version, or maybe I play without WT mod (not yet updated) and in the previous version I played with.
I also have an incest patch from the first page, maybe it's his fault, I don't know if it's working on this version of the game.

The full download is 0.18, the patch directly below those links is what you need. Download the patch, unzip and move the Chap19 and scripts files to the 'game' folder. There's also a text file in the patch download that explains this.

the 0.19 version is an update of 0.18 version so if you already have 0.18 download the update otherwise download 0.18 then 0.19 update.

With the patch she is the MC's sister, I believe without the patch she is the sister in law (not 100% sure as I always play with patch).

Because the patch was available first due to upload speed and patching is a piece of piss to do. Can you apply the incest patch? Then you can apply the update patch, it's the exact same method.

I downloaded the patch 0.18> 0.19 and everything works (for compressed version 0.18). It didn't make sense to download the compressed version, I just lost time. This is a solution for those who have the same problem as me (a few posts back)

Yeah, I always tell people not to use the compressed versions. I know not everyone has fast internet and unlimited bandwidth (how is that still a thing?) but they're broken far too often and I've always ended up getting the full version anyway.

It's maybe too late but here is my piece of advice : for some reason you had unarchived script files (all the .rpy and .rpc) in your /game folder. Most of them you don't have to bother if they are there to upgrade your game version from 0.18 to 0.19. But the ones that must be removed are script.rpy and script.rpc
why you ask? Because they're most certainly from the 0.18 version (since I assume you downloaded the updater that contains only .rpa files), it's those file that link together the differents "chapters" and at the launch of the game renpy recompile the .rpy files from the game subfolders and those newly recompile files have priority over their potential counterpart in the archive (.rpa) that's how patch and modding are working (in very short).
For the version appearing in the main menu I'm not sure if it's linked to the script.rpy or in the gui.rpy but that's just interface and not content.

Fair point, so as of now that conversation isn't over. Take it as she is still lost in the moments from earlier, but once her brain is back to normal some issues will pop up. Looking back at it I agree, she was a little too relaxed about the whole thing.
