You can register with literally any info you want, just type in whatever. Saying they are disingenuous is just childish, they provide us with torrents for almost every VN.

have you ever looked at the "Peers" tab in your torrent client? Notice how every peer has it's own full IP-adress there? Yes, everyone that downloads from your client can also see your IP-adress.
What kind of anonymity was it you thought you had when torrenting? From whom? About what? For how long?
Use a VPN if you want to be a bit more private online. Use Tor Browser if you feel you really really need (but don't torrent over tor). Use disposable email adress providers, or privacy conscious email providers. Use encryption software if you fear people getting to your hardware. But please read up on the subject before complaining.

bruh, you literally only have to create a username, you dont even have to use an email or anything, jesus christ. you can even make as many fucking throw away accounts as you wish. they are just there to give you a key to use the torrent (this is to prevent scammy wedbsites from simply copying our torrentlink to use it for their own - we are paying for the seeding machines after all).
as horrorpony pointed out: your IP is always visible when torrenting. so ya gotta use a proper VPN anyway to prevent others from seeing your IP, like using mullvad.

Actually, you couldn't be more wrong if you tried. Torrenting is anything but anonymous. If you were anonymous, you literally couldn't use a torrent at all. Torrents need peers to share data such as your actual IP address for you to be able to download.
This is just one of the reasons accounts exist in the first place FYI.
