Well he tried to make it look realistic as possible, not make everyone into barbie and ken, like somewhat relatable with age and his dad humor.
It depends on your point of view. She's not too bad, but she is an older wife and mother and I think their appearance is closer to reality than the young moms and handsome dads that all look like they're the same age as their "18 year old" children. This is a little more realistic.
