No sir, you are missing the point. You are complaining about a game getting a high rating and then mention as negatives (as perceived by you) the basic premise of the whole game. Well, not liking the premise is okay, but that shouldn't affect ratings, those need to be on how well a game delivers on what it promises - and this one does.

MC having a "successful" midlife crisis in that the girls fall for him is the point of the game. It is a silly point but it is a silly game and it is supposed to be silly. Complaining that the silliness is unrealistic because girls wouldn't be interested in an ugly old guy (which by the way is not always true either, especially if said guy had money like our guy has) is missing the point because at no point did anybody try to make this a realistic game.

I appreciate the slightly more elaborate answer. While playing the first hour or so, to me it always seemed like the game was taking itself quite seriously, no funny remark after making the player know that MC has the free to stare at my tits pass cuz why not or anything of the sort. But I guess I have approached the game with a wrong interpretation.

I think you need to choose a better translation application or write more clearly in your native language into the application because most of what you have written is a mess. Try deepl.com, and I would recommend posting both in your native language and the English translation... just in case.

If he were fifty he'd have a lot more gray hair, and given the age of his daughters (you know, the ones away for college so their rooms are available for their "tenants"), mid forties sounds about right.

I mean, if you are into orgasm denial and humiliation, I'm not gonna kink shame you, but I like when girls who are out of my league fawn over me. Kind of the whole point behind porn, for most of us.

Game is kind of like a parody way more than a realistic setting... so asking for realism seems like a moot point. If not simply absurd.

The Original VN is kinda lighthearted, the MC is an easy/cringe/funny guy who one day wakes up and start to desire/chasing every female in his surrounding.
The Dark Version is a different scene from one that is already in the VN. He kinda forces himself on his daughters friend and herself until they give in and don't resist anymore. It is a bit dark, but very bearable i would say.

I don't think the original game is dark at all. I wouldn't know which tags gave you the impression that it is. The "rape" tag is there for one scene most players will miss (because it includes a decision hardly any player will make without a walkthrough in my guesses) which isn't especially graphic and does not include MC or any of his LIs.

There is a bit of darkness (okay, some) in the family backstory of one of the girls, but that gets resolved pretty quickly.

If you consider the "Corruption" tag as indicative of possible darkness and secret manipulation, well, I wouldn't even know what that is doing here. There's not really much corrupting going on since basically everybody is a pervert from day one to some degree.

I agree that this game is mostly light hearted, with silly jokes, silly karaoke (you will miss out on some fun if you don't know some of the greater hits of the last century). The discussion above about how much of a bumbling oaf really is versus playing it should also give a hint that it is not entirely serious.

I always took it as the dev's way of making sure this in no way represents RL...like at all...so far from the realm of anything possible for such a MC to have what's going on that it's laughable. I took that also as the dev's attempt to make this as unrealistic as possible to keep it as just fantasy.

Since I had fun with one of these before, I took a pic with visible body and flaccid dong. The best I got was this:



Now I took Gimp and measured top of the head to sole of his right foot and got 1042 pixels. Root of dick to tip (as far as visible) 123 pixels. If we assume, that MC is 1.80m/5'11" tall (a bit on the short side nowadays but at his age he might have shrunk a bit), then his masterpiece would be 21.2cm/8.3". Average length of a flaccid penis is 2.6 inches ... so it's roughly three times that. Even porn stars are estimated to "only" have 7-8 inches (no reliable study exists apparently, wonder why). So he even narrowly beats them.

We are completely corrupted by all the games which put every slider to the max. This easily can be the biggest they've ever seen in real life, especially the girls. (Similar things happen when we think of "tiny" boobs in these games - they might be well above average in real life).
