You must be placing it in the wrong folder then

I think the old save is not compatible.
Some scenes have no sound and forced to exit the game.
But playing from scratch, It works fine.

The forced exit only happens when you are not running the game with compatibility mode. Try windows 7 or older.
Be sure to run the game at least once with "Run As Administrator" even if you are the only user of that PC

I played the Game 4-5 from beginning at the moment I have no interest to do it again. Near all versions your own save is buggy for the new version.
