yeah, he explained what was going wrong. feels like you and others are trying to come up with some conspiracy instead of accepting what the dev himself said (who has given no indication that he is a dishonest dev). he was getting burned out after not taking a break in 4 years, development slowed because of that. he took a break to get himself back on track. he came back a week ago, which was within the 2 month window he said he would be back in.Dude, last year I went to planet Mars and came back yesterday, so I didn't know it... (sure)
0.6 should have come out in february - march. He didn't deliver it and called for a pause, instead. So, something went (is going) wrong, definitely.

Forgive me for not believing a total stranger, unless you know him IRL that is what he is, says. The word is called excuse. I don't want to get into numbers, but they add up to nothing more than excuses. Heaven forbid a person should work for A WHOLE FOUR YEARS. I mean that is practically retirement age isn't it? How else would you find these types of incomplete games in development? Where else can developers get this kind of exposure for their .1 or less games inprogress? I have only found them on sites exactly like this one. No mainstream outlet is going to publish or list incest, Futa,Beastiality and other fucked up porn games...that are alpha. incomplete game exist where again? This site lets people find fucked up games. And the devolopers find P's here to support their content generation. Clear enough?

jcwiggens before I begin responding let me say you seem to misunderstand were I'm standing. I wouldn't support Icstor either. Reasons for this have been mentioned before. I'm just explaining why others would.
We would be Discord members that have shared Icstors post previously and are therefore trustworthy. Icstor is considered trustworthy by most because of his record.
You are free to consider it what you want. Ask the mods to change their policy's regarding labels if you want them to change it. I simply stated how things are done here currently.
Highly debatable. His games are not uploaded here, only the links are shared. F95zone is not responsibly for the content of user posts. At best he could contact filehosting sites and demand his games be taken down. His games would just be reuploaded or be shared somewhere else like svscomics. This is true for every creator not just Icstor. I don't think Icstor is a fan of this site since it is against the rules to mention it in his discord.
Are you serious? People are free to support him and people can have different opinions, but explaining or arguing why they would do so is considered excuse making by you? Besides I literally didn't make any excuses for Icstor, if anything I attacked him for a lack of communication and "accidentally" charging people in April.
Read my post again. I said the dumpster fire would happen if this site labeled the game as abandoned even though "we" just heard from Icstor. I consider this a fact since you already had several complains on every page about the onhold tag not being removed immediately when "we" heard from Icstor being back to work.

Yes developers can sign up here, and interact with people playing their games. Some might even decide to finance their games.
But neither of things you mentioned is *providing services to developers*.
They can use any social media for marketing, but nobody except crowd funding providers like Patreon is providing them services. They can use same "services" as other members.
To cut it short, I strongly doubt ICSTOR will give fuck over people ranting here he hadn't post any update in this year. On hold and Abandoned tags are made to inform users, not to "warn" developers.

This made me have a funny thought. Obviously these developers spend so much time on these games and make so much money that you can safely assume that it's their main source of income and probably their only job (it's a pretty awsome job let's be fair)
How do you explain what you do for a living to people? like friends, parents, romantic partners?

I'm just telling you people believe him because out of all the active developers Icstor might be the one that has been around the longest. The dude almost single-handedly started the Incest craze alongside Dark Silver (I think others like Mr.Dots or LewdLab came later but I'm talking from memory here so someone can fact-check me on that).
To not further derail this thread, I'll say I think we agree that people can support Icstor if they want to. You and me personally wouldn't and take his word with a grain of salt, albeit to a varying degree. Fair?
