I simply don't know the estimate ratio between the $1 patrons and the $10+ patrons. I initially thought he could be making 1M+, but then that would be assuming that there are only very small number of $1 patrons.
That's definitely good amount of money. If he can keep up the good work, it's definitely paying off for him.
Mostly devs have about 5usd per patreon he can have slighthly more maybe 8. I was calculating with 5.

But even at $10 average, that's only about $500k (which is what I estimated on my initial question). Considering you said it was a pessimistic estimate, are you suggesting that his average is $20+ for $1M+ yearly income?

No, the actual money he HAD earned is probably below that if look at what he really earned, for example last annual year. I was simply considering the fact that there was no significant drop in his patronage beside the usual spikes and if we take the 6000 pledgers as a baseline then his earning (from that point on) will be more than 500k after a year.
I just hope that this amount of money will dissuade him from just wrapping up the project prematurely.

Exactly. And i think his average went above 9$ by now. Pledger base tripled since then, when it was below 9$, and assuming that significant portion of that went into the $10 pool i'm assuming its above 9$.
Whatever he earns is way above "not bad" land

One question that I've always had it in my head : Icstor works all by himself or he have a whole studio team which he work together in his project ? I 'm not speaking about just a proofreader , i'm asking if he had some specific figure like for example a coder , or some art and visual developer ....
Considering the jump in quality from previous games and frequency before the hiatus it would be a good bet there are more people involved as most other developers that we know have teams did not have ither the quality and quantity per update.
Its quite funny to read people getting all envious over Icstor potential earnings at the same time bashing him for not delivering ,altough i see its quite likely patreons are being milked , most people bitching are not paying and the ones that do ,do that on their own will. On the other hand revenue adds to incentive to get it done.

There's at least a coder and a writer helping him. The latter (Onyxdime) even posts in this thread from time to time, well at least he did before this thread went completely down the drain.

It Was not enough to get him to do a June release it seems. Amazing that people Subbed him during this vacation. I know his cgs are the best. But real porn is way better so I do not get it.
