Somehow he's at 100% content complete, testing phase, but "scenes are still missing".
I was always sceptical about that rather simple progress meter, but that really confirms it. Don't get me wrong, you can test as you go along, but what percentage is he really at?

Icstor because the update wasnt finished (fuck it was barely "started") while the release time was approaching and had to come up with an excuse to delay it 4 more months to start working on it. Also apparently the ugly ass kid that looks like a trap is his favorite character somehow from what I have read? So probably that too.
Lmao wait, he didn't actually pause payments, but telling people that he'll send them the new copies even if they pause? That's an asshole move.

He continues to harp on the size of the update but had he kept to it to Caroline and Celia, it would already be released and he could've pushed out a neighbors update after with there being no marked difference in the end release date. That is, the neighbors part would be out in early October and the state of the game would be the same. If anything, considering how much the size of the update seems to be causing problems, it likely would've been faster.
The idea of making the update bigger to sort of try to "make up" for the delay never made sense to me anyway.

He tells people he'll pause payment and he doesn't actually do that.

Every great game has great writing..Too answer the dialogue thing. Haven't you heard of romance . Lots of times it can add hilarity to a story example Isabella and the MC from Being a DIK

I'm not even surprised... as soon as Caroline's update is done., ICSTOR will announce the first release of his next game... Milfy Planet. And while it's understandable that people can be buened out by their work... a crashing software is a bad excuse when you have years of experience, and resources enough to have a remedy for a hiccup like that... and maybe patreons should consider who they support because ICSTOR doing nothing but messed up renders of Bob in heels is not an isolated case...where's GumDrop's update? In Nederland..
In the meantime there are developers like DPC, Nottravis, Philly_Games and others releasing magnificent updates, polished updates on a quite-regular schedule.
I'm not saying ICSTOR is milking his supporters but... this is the tenth (?)delay for this update and he does that because he can. He knows people are so obsessed with Caroline that they will stand in line to get ass fucked by Tiny, just so they could get their cursor on the choice to sleep rape her. And ICSTOR knows it.

I've noticed this myself. Porn games have entirely too much dialogue. It's one thing to tell a story, but we aren't read a 1000 tales or arabian nights. We are trying to jerk it to render characters on a screen. I usually just end up skipping the dialogue and trying to find a spolier free walkthrough.

He said he'd pause his Patreon during his break. He accidentally (or convinently?) missed pausing it before payments went through in April even though he announced it in mid March and had about two weeks to pause it.
People were not charged in May so there is that.
And at this point there were so many delays, each accompanied by a statment of "you'll get the update even if you canel your patronage now" that I think anyone is eligible to get the update if they pledged somewhere between March and now. We'll see how this will work.
