He said he'd pause his Patreon during his break. He accidentally (or convinently?) missed pausing it before payments went through in April even though he announced it in mid March and had about two weeks to pause it.
People were not charged in May so there is that.
And at this point there were so many delays, each accompanied by a statment of "you'll get the update even if you canel your patronage now" that I think anyone is eligible to get the update if they pledged somewhere between March and now. We'll see how this will work.

Crazy part about all of this is if Icstor decides to push this back another month or two and say the reasoning is to combine the 0.7 update but it'll be less content for those characters, the majority here will be upset some of his patrons will be upset but the vast majority of his cult following will praise him for such an ingenious idea telling him to take as much time as he needs and that it's not his fault. Meanwhile while all that's happening there's other devs with less support either,

A) Finishing up their game and starting on their next project.

B) Released mutiple fleshed out updates that add story, character development and scences all while improving.

But I digress at the end of the day our words are pointless because thousands will continue to support a dev while having arguably the best renders not so much in the story and character side of things and I feel you need to at least try to hit those three if you want to proclaim a game as being the best.

Personally he can work on it as long as he requires since his releases have been at least for me without any bugs or game breaking crashes. I always played the first version and not b, c which got released later on.

What i am curious about is that he writes about bringing the game to "the newer version of Renpy". Couldnt he have done that after releasing the 0.6? I am not knowledgeable about this stuff but old version of a software should still work without it requiring the new version.

Why is the game so much dialogue? Is this a porn game or a novel?
For example, in the arch of strangers is 280 renders and only 6 000 WORDS! That's about 21 words on render!
Do he replay in the Melody or Being a Dik?

It is in a visual novel format. I guess that might count for someone. I agree though. Not to knock on developers who work hard on a lot of different aspects on their games, they can't be great at all of them.

Most of them stink in the writing department. They're not writers, plain and simple. At best you get a comprehensive english with minimal typos and some cliché dialogue that works well enough (MIlfy City for exemple). The most common issue though is way too many words to say very little. And worse sometimes, focusing on uninteresting, unimportant detail.

I often use the skip button out of boredom or annoyance.

Icstor makes great games but terrible endings. Mostly rushed. All of his past games had so bad endings. Milf's Control ending with sis (wtf is this dude?) Milf's Villa also almost none of the worthy mom content and boom! rush to end. Incest Story is same too. Even it has good content, end is so rush and bad.

What i see is, if icstor boring his game, he delayed something or else and kill it. Focuses to another project. Looks like he is bored this one too.
