You kinda answered your own question. You're right that there isn't much reason to play it twice, that's why there are people waiting to play the final update that will have better scenes with animations instead of playing the inferior version.

Exactly....the suspense isn't gone for me because I haven't played it...and I have patience and a real life that I live...so I don't even care about waiting...doesn't bother me at all.

If you're looking for a wank I'd say no, if you're just curious about some story for the sister sure. If you're hoping for some development after the mother story cliffhanger it's not in there and the neighbor's story isn't worth anything so pretty much only for the sister.
