What does work ethics have to do with anything when his work is basically a masked illegality that comes to life via a patch + since people are naive enough to pay for something they're not getting & since there's no Patreon rule against scammers. Seems pretty "ethical" to me give the situation.

Yes, I was surprised myself. But I think that if he releases a post, or changes the numbers in the progress bar, this number will grow again.

almost 4 months now and the progress bar in his website is still stuck at 70%. I don't mean to sound demanding or anything, but what in the world is this guy's plan on his game and the number of patrons he has on it? If he doesn't want to finish it might as well call it quits now.
I think it's not the Icstor who is at fault, it's those people, who support him through patreon.
Just think about it:
You (as Icstor) waking up, do morning chores, thinking about the day, and than SUDDENLY +6238$* on your bank account. Poor Icstor, now he lost all the motivation to make some new content for the game, that feeds him. Again. Like another 6 or 7 mont in a row?? Maaaan, you can't even force yourself to count, so little motivation left.
*if all the patrons were 1$ only (and the are not)
ps 97%, now he needs even more time to delete those animations from his private game biuld (lol)
