to me it would be retrieving the pastJust as a matter of interest, what makes a game qualify as quality to you?

The only problem I see with ICStor and phenomena like these is that a lot of that money could have been put to better use with other developers who deliver better quality. Two years ago this game was top notch for the genre, today it's a bit above average, but nowhere near the top. The last release was actually mediocre to say the least. No one is milking anyone. The creators don't decide how much money they receive. If they receive a lot, it's simply because the supply for this kind of content is low. It's a good thing, because it's an incentives for developers to increase the supply.
Yeah, or he could even hire some people working for him and didnt have to do shit and still do good.he is earning more than 20,000$ with so much money he should work even when he is tired or pause the patronage if he cannot work on the game even tho i don't think he is tired he is milking his patrons like a pro scammer imo.
People support DC because he does the opposite of what ICSTOR does. DC regularly updates his patrons and discord with progress on the project with streams and a legitimate progress bar (Art, Posing, Writing, Coding, and Bugs). Plus, hand-drawn takes much more time to make than 3D animation, and yet the updates are consistently good with metric buttloads of content. Also, it took nearly a year for ICSTOR to release one lackluster update, but DC managed to chug out several in the same amount of time.the biggest milking machine from devs is Summertime saga creator . 60k per month . with these resourses he could start second high quality project .
At least Cookie actually develops his game.the biggest milking machine from devs is Summertime saga creator . 60k per month . with these resourses he could start second high quality project .
My personal opinion is that it was a combination of good render work and the heaviness that the lewd aspects built on great pacing. The writing was decent but he was able to build something very edgy and perverse (I don't mean that in a negative way). The sort of progression with linda in particular had wasn't so slow that you sort of zone out of the writing but it wasn't so fast that it destroys the payoff. Moreover the lewd situations themselves were very creative.Personally, I'm mainly curious about if it was luck or skill that put him in the position he is now. He produced high quality renders when the competition was minimal and has kept the patreons despite others surpassing him in quality. Did he see a market opportunity where he was early, or was it just luck that people wanted to pay big money for the things he was doing?
Sadly he lost his touch with his base performance he did on Linda.... check out Caroline. My personal opinion is that it was a combination of good render work and the heaviness that the lewd aspects built on great pacing. The only other game that does these elements similarly in pacing and creativity that I've played is Summertime Saga (I'm sure there is a lot more but I'm kind of new to lewd games in general).
old saves dont work. ho to play it, begin from start every time its impossiblePeople support DC because he does the opposite of what ICSTOR does. I know far from everybody is convinced that that is the case, but if he's suffering from burnout then it's a huge struggle just to get out of bed in the morning. Taking on the role of a project manager and basically leading a company - which require a lot of communication and being able to make decisions when your co-workers requre it, is out of the question. All these things you are saying are things he should have initiated as soon as the signs of being over-worked started to appear. That would have given him a chance to actually do what you suggest, and at the same time relieve him of some of the stress.I don't really get why he have not started some kind of studio when he get bored with the game. With ~50k$ monthly he could easily pay 3-5 experienced people and just play the boss there telling them what to do and checking quality. He would even still get 50%+ of the cash.... Right now we would be around version 1.0 and he would probably have much more patrons... In his spare time he could even create new patreon account and create new game that he feels passion about. I really don't get him![]()
Сongratulations. You shouldn't have downloaded this. Because many have already died waiting for the update.Nice
