6000+ people, yes.
It's clear you don't actually know the rules regarding the abandoned tag.Wait still no Abandoned tag?. Come on mods this is beyond ridiculous!.
It pretty clear this game is abandoned to those who have been following it!.
If you believe a new update is still coming...
You'll also likely believe I'm a Nigerian Prince in trouble and I will give you half my fortune if you help my by giving me money to cover my legal fees first!.
But its not abandoned, he said that he was going to finish the game with the next updateIt's clear you don't actually know the rules regarding the abandoned tag.
ICSTOR knows how to play those rules and that's why it doesn't have one yet.
I have no idea why people keep thinking that Patreon is a good front for money laundering. What's more likely:The abandoned tag wouldn't be appropriate. This game needs the Mafia'd tag. I'm starting to believe that these " money laundering front " theories aren't that far-fetched. Anyone here is actually one of his patrons ? Is his discord active ?
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH Good OneHe will release later this month, right?
He will release...hmm what's that word I'm looking for...uhm oh yeah, never. He will release later this month, right?
Exactly lol. By posting on his Patreon that he will be releasing MilfyCity 1.0 in 2021 (don't hold your breath) he keeps people on the leash a bit longer. I can't believe he still has 5603 patrons (as of tonight).. Project X must be awesome to still have that many patrons after what he did with this game...But its not abandoned, he said that he was going to finish the game with the next update
It's more likely that it's money laundering. Have you never heard of identity theft?I have no idea why people keep thinking that Patreon is a good front for money laundering. What's more likely:
A) Organized crime would use a public website that keeps full records of easily-traceable electronic payments and keeps 5-12% of the cash to launder maybe 40-50K a month while using an extremely high-profile creator as a frontman
B) There are a few thousand simps who'll happily pay $10 a month for the promise of seeing some nicely-rendered boobies having animated sex
Considering there are people in this world who've paid for things like dirty panties and Belle Delphine's used bathwater, I think you can guess which one. And yes, his Discord is very active with a lot of very white(-stained) knights.
Using 5,600 stolen IDs to launder dirty money through Patreon is like using a $5,000 gaming rig to surf the internet using the Windows Virtual Keyboard. You'd have to coordinate that many accounts to start with, and since Patreon only takes credit cards and bank transfers you'd have to move the money through banks anyway so why add the extra middle-man? There's so many other ways to launder money that would result in way higher returns on investment with much less visibility. It's more likely that it's money laundering. Not true... Patreon accepts PayPal and you can bind the same PayPal account to several Patreon accounts as all you need for it is a valid E-Mail adress for the confirmation E-Mail.Using 5,600 stolen IDs to launder dirty money through Patreon is like using a $5,000 gaming rig to surf the internet using the Windows Virtual Keyboard. ICSTOR's continued support is porn's version of Occam's Razor: the simplest explanation involving sad horny people is usually the right one.
That's a significant drop in 2 days... When I checked on the 30th he had 6024.5603 patrons (as of tonight)
Which is basically shorthand for "credit cards and bank transfers" since that's how you get money into a PayPal account (or from someone else, who put their money into PayPal through a credit card or a bank transfer). There's really not a good way to turn raw cash into electronic currency without going through a bank at some point, which means the classic options like cash-based businesses or messing with money orders are needed first. Afterwards, as you said there's much better ways with higher anonymity to get the job done. Heck, tying yourself around ICSTOR's neck at this point would just be a headache; everybody's screaming at you all the time and focusing intently on how much money you're making, which is the exact opposite of what you'd want if you're trying to hide cashPatreon accepts PayPal
