So hundreds of new players download the game, fall in love with it and rush to Patron to support in the euphoria induced need for more. They are brand new and don't post here, they know zero about anything beyond 'that was really fun' and $1 a month is chicken scratch really. Being unconcerned, it takes literal months before they get curious enough to look for information and only then do they finally learn the truth and abandon ship, but by then, thanks to the exposure... he's already getting a fresh new batch of newbies donating.

Milfy was my first, and I got addicted to these games and played hundreds of others before I even realized Milfy was doomed. I never looked for information, I'd just go to a different site and download whatever game had nice preview pics. Eventually my addiction resulted in having numerous games I wanted more from and that is finally what brought me to this forum but for most, their interest never goes beyond passing curiosity and throwing dollars and a few games they enjoyed. I am a Patreon patron but would only consider supporting a creator if he/she were actively developing games and/or Ren'Py novels of exceptional beauty, depth and quality. I would also consider purchasing completed games of that kind, for a one-off payment, rather than being drip fed them episodically, although I understand and appreciate the value of the Patreon model as a means to generate a steady and predictable income for creators.

That said even though I love Milfy City I would not part with any money, particularly long-term on a monthly basis, to support a developer who is no longer working as a kind of open-ended "thank you" for a marvellous creation he/she began but abandoned uncompleted. The superior art, story, characterisation, dialogue and design of Milfy City encourages support for Icstor from interested parties, eager enjoy entertainments and delights offered by such a compulsive and immersive virtual world, and I myself would probably be inclined to support Icstor financially provided the Patreon subscription were affordable and he produced regular high-quality updates of his games and commitment creating new games.

Until and unless that day arrive I will remain a sincere admirer.

Suprisingly active thread for not having seen this on the "Latest Updates" page in awhile. It was one of my favs on the site last time I played it. I can't really remember how long that has been though. FILF came back after a LONG hiatus. Hopefully this makes a similar revival.

It won't... the game was never on hiatus, the Dev just took Patreon money without working on it... currently he makes one excuse after another followed by another set of to be broken promisses

and here we all thought we'd be seeing an update at the end of december or the first of the year. Now we're legit at the end of January.

Icstor must be paying hell of a lot money for Onyxdime, Baron and everybody else on his team that they literally don't just say fuck you to him and go work another project. For example both of those guys has a great talent that is now being just wasted by this lazy ass monkey.

I know that technically the forum's rules say that a game is tagged as abandoned only if the patreon is abandoned for a certain time, but Dual family has been tagged abandoned long ago even if gumdrop has always been active in patreon, so if exceptions to the rules are possible for those shitty milking devs, a new exception has to be made for this game, i can't stand a new player who doesn't know that this game is dead and just gonna give money to icstor based on ignorance, this game has to be tag abandoned ASAP.

Although GD didn't do a single post in Patreon for almost two years before he returned to actively update it.

Onyxdime is active and has a Patreon page where the most literate among us can buy erotic stories at a bargain basement price.

The worst part is this is the one of game who started games with amazing quality we have today. And its still amazing but DEV is worse part of this game... I love this game and its in my Top 5 adult game list but DEV is not good DEV at all.. Thats pretty sad...
