Yeah I know, I've been made aware of what's going on with this game when I signed up here several months ago. If I had known about it when the damn COVID lockdown happened in the US last year (March) I never would've picked it up from SteamUnlocked in the first place.

But problem was, I loved the game, and most importantly, Caroline in the first few minutes of playing. Just did my weekly run with her today. It has a special place in my heart this game as being the first VN I've ever played. Incomplete or not, it's still one of my Top 5 (maybe even 3) favorites.

You're misunderstanding the implication. They're saying ICSTOR has 7000 patrons the same way a candle store that sells 10 products a day is in the black or an overpriced gaudy condo sells above market rate.

I used to fiddle with SFM a bit too before patreon was common.. i couldn't fap to shit i made, no matter if it fell right in my fetishes but eventually it does actually become hard to focus and productivity drastically falls down. Post-fap.. yeah... it's bed/movie time.
Still, that only became a problem during the fine-tuning phase which could take me 2 to 4 hours to complete to the best of my capabilities. 3 secs loop could be done in half a day but with variations can be turned into a 2 mins video especially if done with different angles for cinematic effects and what not. My personal output was 1 video in a week with a total lack of motivation and without a stick on a carrot(patreon). So yeah, at this point the whole game would have been animated lmao

To his supporters, want him to release updates faster? Stop supporting him, he will release one every time he loses supporters.
Personally, when i'm feeling mentally ill.. i do my best not to burden anyone, stealing money is a pretty big burden, yes.

Damn, I briefly wanted to subscribe for 1$ to see what happend on his patreon but.. 1,5 year? Seriously? It will became another scam game that never gets finished or updated? Only for its fans that got charmed by good fap material. I got hooked on really sexy animations and characters.. but now. Its like Dreams of Desire.. its charm fades into oblivion of time and new better and hotter games takes its place in my heart. Being a Dik takes the cake. As the one with most and the best fap material on the market. Best story telling and depth of characters and its world. Generally on every level its above Milfy City but I still want to see its ending. I want to see how the story will unfold and how much we will be able to do. Its real shame that Dev became money hungry and forgot about the community that loved his work. Its very similar story to that of Berserk writer. Once he grabbed enaugh cash for him to not worry about the rest of his life he literally abandoned his own work.. shame on You, Dev for dissapointing Your fans. If I went on hold without delivering anything worthwile. I would stop taking money for it. Shame on You.

That's what i have been saying on all forums of games with similiar problems but comments are getting flamed by (stop compaling karen" or getting deleted. I have no problem supporting someone who delivers on his promises and have regular or at least semi-regular updates. But i am not going to give money to someone who doesn't do anything.

I really wanna believe that the new update would be a year and a halfs worth of content but why do I worry that it'll be some decent update but not have the content you'd expect from a year and a half wait, I really hope it's filled with a fuck ton of content
