As verbal as I have been supporting this game for many, many months in this thread (and being heckled and insulted for doing so) IF an update is released, I know it'll be some form of redemption for him and this game. As tough as it has been sitting and stewing waiting for ANYTHING to come down pike, even the smallest step in progress is a good thing.
Then, of course, being cynical, who's to say after one or two updates it doesn't happen again and start the cycle all over? I hope that he does finish this game and I hope I have a few marbles left in the attic to be able to see that happen in time, if it does.
I've never supported him on Patreon, but I've been a very big cheerleader here. My faith has definitely been wavering for a while, so anything good happening in the next 1.5 days could and probably will restore it.

I honestly don't understand why people reacted with laugh to this post. 4000 sounds very reasonable for 2 years development. DPC does that in a 4.5 development time period.

Keep in mind when the update drops on the 14th, it's a SARA update...AND it will be small since he's releasing the game every 2 weeks as he mentioned. The real test after the 14th (if he even bothers to live up to his promise) is too see if he lives up to the 2 week promise. Sitting on a half update with SARA of all characters for God knows how long is super depressing and should be enough to give up on this game.
