I know this "story" has been already told by someone else, but I try to post my point of view because I see in some posts here that what happened has been forgot:
I played this game in December 2019 (probably the "e" version had just been released).
I've immediately checked the new version status and it was, if I remember correctly, 70% but the author had already started to find some reasons (I didn't realize they were excuses) to delay the release date.
After many many months, this percentage had finally changed to 80% and I started to hope he was back to develop it seriously.
Unfortunately, he changed soon the status from "80%" to "canceled but a new game will arrive".
This was the fact that convinced me he is a scam: really Icstor have a new episode 80% ready but he canceled it?! Impossible.
Probably forced by a lot of Patreon supporters' requests, he changed again his plans: the new game is in hold and Milfy City will be released directly in the 1.0 version (plus some contents added as "dlc").
When? Absolutely during the 2021, probably but not for sure within May.
When asked, he reply he have 8000 (...) renders ready.
All these informations comes from his Discord channel (where I've been banned to telling the truth) because the official site is like the game: abandoned!
The forums have been in fact locked and the site status is 2 years old (except for the lies that are posted regulary every 3 monts to fooling the rules).
Then something happened, I still don't know if he forgot to check the calendar or this was exacltly his plan: no news has been posted so the "abandoned" tag has been applied!
This hasn't been the main reason but a trigger (Icstor's words) and he changed again the game's update schedule: a new version every 2 weeks (...) with at least 200 renders.
Tomorrow we will see if this is anoter lie or not (but I think he will do it to remove the tag) but nothing can convince me that the around 7000 supporters are the reason why he decided to do what he done: a lot of money doing in this 1,5 years less than he should have done.
Poor supporters but probably this is what they want.
By my side I prefer to continue to pay the developers that work with regular updates and that keep myself well informed.
I finish by saying that it is a real shame: MC is one of the best adult games around but, instead be the most loved game, Icstor is probably the most hated author.
